**Q: Is the stainless uncoated? Want to reduced chemical usage and dont want the coating to flake.**
A: Hello! The base material is a zinc-alloy, which is then finished using electroplating or PVD for corrosion protection. The most native finish is the 'Chrome' one. It for sure will not flake, it's quite resilient and durable. Hope this helps! - Adam

A: Hi there! No, the razor doesn't come with a grip, though we do have a grip sleeve available separately if needed. - Adam

**Q: How often do you recommend changing the blades? Does it depend on the amount of use or would you be bake to tell when they are dull and need changing?**
A: Yes - you'd be able to tell they're not cutting hair as efficiently as you'd like, pretty much like you'd tell from any other razor. The lowest blade does a bit more work than the other two so you might even just swap that one out and the others less frequently, you can really dial things in to your preference since they're individually loaded. I personally change mine every 6 weeks or so, give or take. - Adam

**Q: Does it give a closer shave then other DE razors? Does it still use the pull them cut technique of plastic cartridge razors?**
A: Hello! Though a multi-blade, it doesn't employ hyesteresis to pull and cut hair below the skin. The Leaf razor, our triple blade, is most loved by body and head shavers for it's extra efficiency in moving quickly, covering a lot of ground and adjustably providing a very close comfortable shave without irritating. If you're a face shaver, take a look at our single blade models, and if you're looking for the closest shave there The Thorn is the closest shaving Leaf single blade razor, the Twig is a milder version of it. - Adam
