However, the outdoor temperature is way off from every other device (and weather reports). Right now, it is -6 F (-6 to -9) in my area... according to the news, phone apps, and every other device we have (at my parents' for Christmas, they have 3) plus this one I bought for myself. This one is a couple of degrees off on the inside temp but it is nearly 20 degrees off for the outside temp. It says it is +15F while all other sources say -6F or colder. It seems to only be noticeably inaccurate when it is very hot or very cold out. :) I regret buying this. It does have a much brighter and easier to read display though, that's it. **Q: Will this transmit through a steel gun safe?** A: I just bought the TP65, and it DOES transmit through a true (not 150 steel box found at wally world) gun safe. The base unit needs to be positioned close to the safe though. Nice to be able to monitor interior humidity without opening the door. **Q: How do you attach the outdoor sensor?** A: If you're wanting to place the sensor outside of your vehicle or rv while you're inside nice & warm(hopefully!), there are small round magnets with a hook attached so you can just stick it to the metal surface & remove it when you're on your way to the next destination, no glue, no damage to the vehicle surface! **Q: I can't seem to sync to sensors. I have many, many times repeated the directions with no luck. Batteries are all good but only the base temp shows.** A: Original batteries in the TP60S lasted about a year. Replaced with Duracell brand and had the same difficulty in getting a transmission from the remote to the TP50 receiver. Found that when I was moving the transmitter, the batteries would become disconnected briefly causing my set-up to disappear. Inserted a thin piece of packing foam over the Duracell batteries to hold them in position and it works perfectly. I used this in a remote location to monitor the temperature and humidity of my dehumidifier. I'm back in business again!!! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value *by M***Y on October 14, 2026* Very nice thermometer and a great value also. Easy to set up. Running great and it's accurate. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great long-range wireless hygrometer with clear display *by A***W on April 15, 2026* The TempPro TP60 Digital Hygrometer and Thermometer is an impressive wireless weather monitoring system at a very reasonable price. The 500ft/150m wireless range is genuinely excellent — I can monitor my garage and outdoor temperature and humidity from across my house without any signal dropout. Setup is simple: press a button on the outdoor sensor, and it pairs automatically with the indoor display. The display is large, clear, and easy to read at a glance. It shows both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity simultaneously, which is very convenient. The temperature and humidity readings have been accurate when compared to other monitoring devices. The daily high/low memory feature is a nice touch for tracking conditions throughout the day. The sensors run on standard AA batteries and battery life has been excellent. I've been using this system for several months and it has worked without interruption. A great choice for anyone who wants reliable, long-range wireless weather monitoring at home. ## Frequently Bought Together - ThermoPro TP60 Digital Hygrometer Outdoor Thermometer Wireless Temperature and Humidity Gauge Monitor Room Thermometer with 500ft/150m Range Humidity Meter - ThermoPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer Room Thermometer and Humidity Gauge with Temperature Monitor - ThermoPro Bluetooth Thermometer Hygrometer, 260FT Range Temperature Sensor Greenhouse Thermometer, Remote App Control Temperature and Humidity Monitor with 2-Year Data Logging Export (TP351) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/42845740-tempair-500-ft-indoor-outdoor-thermometer-wireless-with-sensor](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/42845740-tempair-500-ft-indoor-outdoor-thermometer-wireless-with-sensor) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
