RectorSeal Epoxy Putty bonds to most surfaces and hardens in 15 to 20 minutes. It can then be sanded, painted, drilled, taped, and/or machined. It is available in two sizes: a handy 2-Ounce. (EP-200) or economical 4-Ounce. (EP-400). Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61, Annex G-4-Ounce (12-Piece).

Review: Very functional - a ‘must have’ for a variety of repairs. - This product appears to be the same or extremely similar to a known brand sold at big box stores. However, each tube is twice as large as the known brand and half the price. It works equally as well. I used a tube and a half to repair metal patio furniture legs, some of which had completely rusted out at the feet. I used wire mesh to bridge the holes and the putty as a ‘body filler’. It’s a little hard to knead (easier if warm) so I used about a 1/2” at a time. It sets pretty quickly so if you use too much at a time it becomes unworkable for large repairs. I strongly recommend wearing latex (or similar) gloves while kneading and working in to fill holes. I removed most of the rusted area and used a rust inhibitor on the exposed metal. I over filled the holes, pushing into annd through the wire mesh. When set, I sanded down to a smooth finish, primarily with an angle grinder then finish sanding with a dremel multi-tool. It sets up for sanding within 15-20 minutes with good bond and strength, but I was working outside on a very warm 80+ degree day. I then primed and painted with oil paint. The repairs extended the life of otherwise serviceable chairs. It wouldn’t hurt if the supplier provided a few pairs of gloves as a bonus with each order. Other than that time will tell if it holds up in outdoor weather related conditions. This product is so versatile, I’d recommend every homeowner / handyman have a tube in their tool kit. On a previous occasion I used the name brand product to repair a chipped spout of a tea post. The repair stood up well for years with constant use, boiling water and frequent dishwasher washing. I see no reason why this product wouldn’t work just as well.

**Q: What is color when dry?**
A: Grayish tint when fully dry. You can always color it to whatever it's bonded to with a little matching paint.

**Q: Could you conceivably use it on a picture frame to fill in missing areas?**
A: You could, but a better solution would be a wood filler if it is a wood frame.

**Q: will it work to fix chain saw? Broke where vibration spring attaches to body. It is all plasticW**
A: all I can say is , it didn't work on pool filter tank. all these products make big promises but none of them seem to work under any type of pressure1

**Q: can it fix a cracked tolit tank**
A: Yes, works great on porcelain.  Smash it into the crack, and then smooth it down against the surrounding surface.  A wet finger can feather down the edges.

This product appears to be the same or extremely similar to a known brand sold at big box stores. However, each tube is twice as large as the known brand and half the price. It works equally as well. Easy to use. It worked grate to plug holes in my trailer. After plugging sanded and painted. It didn’t pop out or fall out. Used it to glue a loose finder part that couldn’t weld to. It’s holding grate.
