What I was expecting. Good chips.

I use these to throw a little smoke flavor on my chicken and salmon when grilling - the kids love it.

I have an indoor smoker. I got more flavor from the “splinters” from a bag of chips from the grocery store. This is coarse sawdust! Probably great for the small novelty smokers. I’m looking for something in between.

I bought these chips for my new Smoker Gun. They are very fine shavings not sawdust but that's a good thing. In fact, they are perfect. It lights instantly and stays lit and generates a lot of smoke. I transferred all the contents to a big sealed plastic canister with a wide mouth lid so they won't dry out or absorb too much moisture. They are perfect as delivered and should last me a very long time.

I have used these Alder chips to smoke Salmon. This follows in the footsteps of Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest who smoked their salmon with alder and introduced same to Lewis and Clark. I have smoked salmon with these chips on indoor smokers as well as outdoor grills. The result is fabulous.

Bonjour , sur la photo, il est indiqué que c'est de la scieure de bois. Quand j'ai reçu les 3 paquets, c'étaient des copeaux de bois. Je suis vraiment très décu car c'était pour mettre avec la spirale, comme c'est indiqué ... Merci

I usualy use It in my smoker, sawdust doeen't smoke well.
