Purchased to connect PS4 to router and hide cables through cable tidy system. After testing, I mounted the cable tidy, painted it all to blend with walls only to now get random error message from PS4 stating LAN cable is not connected. Other LAN cable working fine. Also thought the connectors were gold from the picture for superior connection quality - turns out just to be coloured plastic. After writing this review the seller quickly contacted me and offered an alternative product. This was received quickly and works perfectly. Luckily it still fits in my cable tidy despite two other thick power cables so it all turned out okay in the end.

super cable, the fact that it is flat is a real bonus, it means it is easy to get under doors or run along the wall smoothly, just ae it more convenient than the usual rounded cable. I will most likely order longer lengths now that I have seen the cable, as it will be handy to pass under the door and give me extra coverage where my Wi-Fi refuses to reach. Does the job you'd expect and no slowing of speeds so very pleased with purchase

It does work as far as it's main function goes just fine, the cable is nice and flat and could go under a mat or rugg and barely be noticeable but, one of the plastic locking tabs has lost it's spring and no longer locks the head positively into a port, this is pretty common with RJ45 network/patch cables but I wasn't expecting it to happen after barely two months. It's definitely a plug it in once and leave it alone cable, I wouldn't recomend it for a laptop user who needs a cable.

bought varies lengths of this Flat Cat7 Cable after trying out a couple of them, so decided to kit out the entire house with the stuff. it gives the advertised speeds np's & since its Flat it goes against the walls nicely. Plugs seem sturdy enough to withstand being pulled in & out for years np's too which is always a worry with cheaper network cables. Can Highly Recommend these cables then from the small 1Metre--->5Metre, an easy 5 Star product.

Whilst many people may say CAT5 or CAT6 is sufficient for a home network it's certainly not when streaming 4k because it's all down to bandwidth speeds; and CAT7 has them all beat. CAT5 speed is 100 Mhz, CAT6 speed is 250 Mhz, CAT6a speed is 500 Mhz yet CAT7 speed is 600 Mhz. All I will say is purchase reliable cables for the job and stay clear of cheap, as they don't last.
