This could have been a dream come true but the probes are only good for a few cooks. The probes started being more than ten degrees apart and one read over a hundred degrees in ice water while another read below 40 in room temperature water. The good execution of the software, the decent range, and the ability to use many probes is worthless when the probes don't read an accurate temperature. This unit is an absolute waste of a lot of money.You could get a handful of cheaper remote thermometers that will last a lot longer. The cheap probes make this absolutely worthless after a few cooks. ### ⭐ Poor Product *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2018* I've had this product for a while now and have gone through all 8 of the thermometer. None of them register the correct temp. I have calibrated them against a high end unit and most are off by at least 20*. That's unacceptable when you're in a cooking competition and temp is EVERYTHING. I would opt for a higher end unit. Don't waste your money on this junk. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AMAZING technology... *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2017* Just finished my first multi-steak cook with the 6-probe GrillEye. Probe #1 set for grill ambient temp and the other for 5 in filet mignon steaks: 1 rare, 2 medium rare, 1 medium and 1 medium well. I lined the steaks up in numerical order by prong #. I was amazed how much the steaks differed in their cooking time / temperature despite being side by side on the grill. To be honest, I was having serious doubts about the readings. As the 'finished' alarms starting going off, I removed each steak as they reached target temperature. To my true amazement, each steak was served EXACTLY as it was set up on the Bluetooth when I was setting up the cook. 5 pieces of meat / 5 cooked to perfection! I've ruined a lot of hellaciously expensive steaks in my time, so our dinner guests were in awe that I finally got it right. lol Even at $170 for the 6-pronger, this thing will pay for itself in no time. The only negative was that I did have a rather difficult time getting my Bluetooth phone paired to the GrillEye initially as it took multiple attempts... but once connected there hasn't been any issue reconnecting, or losing the connection while cooking. I was 150-200 feet away from the unit on multiple occasions during the cook and maintained connectivity. Bottom line: I love this thing and STRONGLY recommend it if you're cooking multiple items / meats and want PERFECTION EACH AND EVERY TIME. This is truly a "WOW!" piece of technology. Thank you GrillEye !!! (PS: I cook on a RecTec pellet grill with grill plates for steaks... another amazing, high-tech, high-quality piece of cooking equipment.
