These are EXACTLY what it says on the tin.There's a reason this format is used, it's durable and rugged, and works well. It's entirely up to the user find a way to implement them, but these cards are exactly what I hoped. Since they are PVC, don't think you'll be able to fold them.If you're gonna use this with PowerSaves, however, you'll need another NFC writer (like an NFC enabled android device) to write a BIN to them, with an app like TagMo. Otherwise, PowerSaves treats these the same as regular Amiibo, and can't write new data to them. This, however, is a problem with PowerSaves, not this product.

2 of the tags out of 25 were defective and would not read or write. The other 23 are fine. If I didn't need them for an event this weekend, I would have returned them for a refund. I wish there was an option to have them replace defective products instead of return all for a refund.The ones that were not defective work well, so I give it 3 stars for the defective cards.

I bought these for use of writing amiibos. They work great! I even decided to paint each one to match the amiibo it matches. Acrylic paint doesn't stick all that well, but I sanded the surface ever so slightly and that seemed to work. They are thick enough that sanding them worked fine and didn't damage the card.

With an app like Tagmo it's incredibly easy to make your own custom amiibo without spending close to $20 a piece on them. Once an amiibo is written to the card it is locked but that's a requirement of the amiibo and not a function of the cards.

These are way better than the NFC NTAG215 Stickers that are sold throughout. They may be a little cheaper at times, but these are way more durable as they are hard plastic ID cards. Perfect for using it to program Amiibo's for all Nintendo games including the recently released switch. Utilized tagmo and my google pixel XL and programmed all the tags that I wanted. Just search for all the .bin files and watch a few youtube clips on programming Amiibo's are you are golden! Way more functional then buying each amiibo and wasting time to searching for hard to find amiibo's unless you are a true collector.

As long as you know what you're doing with these, you'll be fine. It's not printer friendly? But to cover it up, I just drew on a piece of paper and taped it on :) helped a lot when I was playing breath of the wild

If you play animal crossing these are a game changer, I got them for the sanrio villagers but also got all my other dreamies with the left over cards. The app isn't on the google play store so I had to google it, just an fyi in case you can't find it.
