No, the Garmin Dash Cam Tandem does not have a battery, so it must be connected to power to operate.

The app supports 4 devices simultaneously, I suggest contacting Garmin directly to determine if the app supports more devices.

Not sure what you expect, but in your scenario, I would lean towards swapping as storage cards, on a regular schedule.

Aside from Parking Mode and crash detected saves, any other video or image saves are not automated and require driver initiation.

If you are looking for a fleet tracker or GPS log, this isn’t that. Consider, satellite gps tracking devices such as Spot’s Trace which store’s data directly to the cloud for retrieval.
