I wasn't sure if it would fit my hard drive, but the case is quite sturdy and provides a good amount of bulk, which I appreciate as it adds a nice layer of protective padding for the device.

I have purchased several of these type products for my electronics. The look of the Amazon Basics is nice. The zipper is sturdy and is easy to zip or unzip. The inside is padded well and I like the orange fabric inside (usually you find black fabric) so it makes it easy to see what is inside the case. Overall the product seems to be well made and my external harddrive fits well including the cords that come with it. My 4 stars is because it is not a hard case like others I have purchased. Most of the others I have the case is hard so it won't crush easily. Amazon's is kind of soft-sided, so I can easily push down on it and feel it crush. This is a bit disappointing as I feel safer with the harder cases especially if I have to travel. But the case does offer better protection than nothing at all or putting in a plastic baggie or other alternatives. It also keeps things looking better organized than anything else I have found so far. Inside there is a velcro strap to keep the harddrive in place so it doesn't move around and a mesh pouch to hold the cords and other items securely. The price is good and I really don't have any complaints. I do have a suggestion though. It would be great to have a place to put a tag on them so you can tell what is in the case without opening it. I have so many of these now that I don't remember what is in which bag (plus almost all the cases are black on the outside) I may have to find some tags to attach to the zipper.

I bought a hard drive here on Amazon and well, I decided to purchase this case as well for safe keeping. It is lightweight. Very good material. And spacious. I was able to fit my WD Element hard drive in one side and the cable plus another drive i have on the other side. I can still fit a few more things on the other side if i want to. Is very functional. I can easily just leave it on my desk or throw it on my bag and take it with me on the go. Definitely worth the investment.

I forgot the price, but if I bought it then it must have been at a reasonable rate because I'm poor. But that asides, it's very good. Solid case with decent space. Using to keep my hard disk for 2 years now.

Perfect, sturdy little case. Use it to protect a WD drive while travelling, and it's been fine. Taken a few knocks but WD has been fine.
