How does the $300,000 dollar warranty work?

I love Dan Daniels answer. I'm still "cracking up". "How does the $300,000.00 warranty work". Hmmm..."IT DOESN'T". He's right. Yeah, good luck on trying to file a claim. It's just like these 3rd party car warranties, you pay premium after premium and when you try and file a claim... Good luck! And no I have never bought one of these scam car warranties. I must get at least 10 robo calls a week telling me that this is my LAST chance to buy their warranty. What a joke!

What is the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) rating of this product? Is it listed as a transient voltage surge suppressor?

The Facts: No matter what the ad says about UL ratings and conformity, if the UL logo is not attached to the device, itself, it is not UL approved. Also, if they don't specify the clamping voltage or SVR, then they are probably not proud of it, 330-400 volts leg to leg is good, otherwise, I don't buy them.

Has anyone ever collected on the $300,000 Connected Equipment Warranty? I've read that they are almost never honored.

Well if you read the fine print you actually have to send the equipment that was damaged to Belkin for them to look over. Now in the case of a home theater system that would be insanely expensive. I'm pretty sure Belkin doesn't pay for shipping.

Can the 8ft 12 outlet version be wall mounted? Are there screwholes on the back of the unit?

I don't have that specific one, I have the longer one with all the plugs in a row, but it has mounting holes.
