Far range, dog loves it
this was a bit pricier than I wanted but I like that it takes AAA batteries, so they're easy to find, easy to replace. I use this for exercising my dog after dark and it has good range, reaching out 30 yards or so. Holding up well for how often we use it which is daily.

Ordered 2 of these because they were listed as Class I Power output๏ผ<0.39mW Range lasers. Label on received items listed them as Class II. This can be bad or good depending on what you do with them. Donโt give these to your kids to play with. Class 1 For visible light, emits beam less than 0.39 mW. Safe, even for long- term intentional viewing. Class 2 Emits visible beam of less than 1 mW. Safe for unintentional exposure less than 1/4 second (because of blink response). Do not stare into beam.

Great toy for cats and dogs even
My cat loves this and even my dog got in on the action. Great to help them exercise while inside. Just keep fragile stuff off the tables near where you are playing!

One Worked Great, The Other Had An Issue With The Switch.
I bought a two-pack and the on/off button on one of them was defective. The laser would stay on unless I tapped the casing on something to get it to spring up and turn the laser off. I understand. I rolled the dice. They make hundreds of thousands of these cheaply to be able to sell them for such a low price, so you take a risk purchasing them. The other laser pointer in the pack worked beautifully. I wanted one for both my house and for Mom's house. I'll have to purchase another one.

My indoor cats love the opportunity to stalk and chase our laser light. The battery feature is easier for me to charge than the USB option that some lasers have. Iris the right brightness, easy to use, has a long battery life, and is a fun toy for the cat.
