does it help on the golf course in case a ball lands on your head?

I would venture that this cap would protect you on the golf course.

Can this hat be used instead of a hard hat？

It is not a hard hat and not advertised as such. If you need a hard hat for work, this is not acceptable. It is very good for working in confined spaces or anywhere you might want bump protection.

Description says usable for warehouse and factories , does that mean this is Osha approved?

Hello,Thank you for asking! I'm sorry that OSHA has not set standards for Bump Cap yet，EN 812:2012 standard is the world’s only standard for bump caps .Nevertheless, our bump caps are very suitable for use in warehouses and factories and other industries that do not require safety hard hat protection but still need protection against worker-generated injuries.
