Great investment for small price
I have extremely large arms so much so that I barely can find jackets or long sleeves that fit properly even at plus size stores. I measured my arm before placing my order and wondered if I would need two of these. I thought I would order one at first and then if I needed another I would just order a second. The material stretches so well that one was perfect and not tight at all. I feared that it might slip down my arm if it was loose with a second one and I worried about blood flow if it was too tight. All concerns have seized because the material allows for the hold to be firm from slippage but flexible enough to allow blood flow.

6 ft 225lbs. for the 2 extra dollars it is a must have for athletically built men.
It was a no brainer to buy this with my Tune Belt. For the $2 i figured better safe than sorry. And im glad i got it because the Tune Belt would not have fit my arm without the extender. Im a fairly big guy at 225lbs and 6ft. I would tell any guy who has or is playing sports, that you best buy the extender. Product is Quality and does exactly what it claims. it works awesome and is easy to use

It Does the Job
This extender works just fine with my Tune Belt armband. As other reviewers have noted, the shipping and "handling" charge is more than twice the cost of the item - while I agree that it's annoying, I just consider it part of the cost. It would probably be more honest to call it a $6.50 item with free shipping, but the bottom line is that it's either worth $6.50 to you or it's not. It was worth $6.50 to me.

Great for larger arms
I thought I'd need this because every single armband I've ever purchased was too tight on my arms. I'm a bigger woman at 5'7" and 230lb. 2 years after having my daughter I'm finally able to go to the gym again. To my great surprise, I didn't need this after all. The armband itself is a bit tight without it but it's not uncomfortable. With this armband, it's a couple centimeters too big. If you have large arms, either due to weight or muscle, I suggest buying it and if you find you didn't need it after all, just return it. I'm so grateful that TuneBelt Inc. has thought of a great armband and and equally great extender for people with larger arms. I'm even more grateful that I truly didn't need it!

Ouch
So I bought this with an armband so I can start walking.... I have really fat arms, so I needed this extender. The overall concept is good, however that little plastic piece turns when I have to adjust or when I first put it on. The weight of my phone and its case inside of the armband make it slide down, so I have to adjust it and of course when I do that little plastic piece turns sideways... and pinches my fat arm. I'm sure this is a pretty easy fix if the manufacture is willing to sew in some extra stitching...

Works. As described. It's an extender.
Yeah. It's an extender. It extends the strap as described. I ended up not needing it despite what everyone seemed to be saying. I have big arms. Not "two tickets to the gun show" big, but certainly enough to give passerby's pause. Even so, the standard Tune Belt strap was enough to remain firmly secure without the extender. You might need this extender if your arms are unusually large, or Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

Bad Shipping and Customer Service
This product is OK, but should clearly just be packaged with the item. Also, the company nickel and dimed me on shipping with the armband. They misrepresented the shipping costs. I paid extra to have the items in 2 days and they sent it via regular USPS. They told me it might get there faster since I wasn't that far from them. Judging from some other reviews, it seems that they may be trying to make a lot of extra money on shipping costs. In the end, they refused to credit me back the shipping difference. I asked several times and Amazon even told them that they agreed with me and requested that they refund me the difference. So, I wasted time and wrote them several emails. A letter to the head of their company, who was not even courteous enough to respond. The only thing they seem to respond to is negative reviews. They don't seem to like them, but given the way they treat their customers, it is clearly what they deserve. It is not good enough these days to blabber a bunch of nonsense about how much you care about customers. We ain't that stoopid. You need to walk the walk.It is unfortunate that this review has to focus on the customer service, because the products themselves aren't bad. Unfortunately, a good product is only a small portion of a bigger picture. Personally, I try not to support companies that have bad customer service and don't take care of their customers, but hey, do what is right for you.

Perfect extension
The extender was an absolute necessity for me and I'm not that large. The maximum size without the extender was just shy of being able to comfortably encircle my arm between the bicep and shoulder muscles when I wasn't working my arms. If I did any lifting at all, my arms swelled and arm band would cut off circulation. The extender can cinch down to just slightly larger than the largest the arm band without the extender could, so there's no intermediate size between having the extender and not having the extender where the arm band just won't fit right. The extender is made of the same material as the arm band itself, so it's difficult to tell when it's even attached. Using the extender I'm also able to use the arm band on my forearm over the top of my motorcycle jacket that has hard plates in it so the potential range with the extender is quite large. I'd say it's an absolute must if you aren't a pure running with rather thin upper arms.
