Victron Energy SmartSolar Charge Controller (150V 45A Tr)

Victron system in my Promaster cargo van. I rely on this component every day to keep my batteries charged! Highly recommend this to you. Bluetooth app gives full information and CerboGX integration is next level with the graphs and monitoring.

I have two Victron Energy charge controllers, and this 150/45 Tr delivers astounding results. With 700W of panels in series, I can very very nearly max this out, and I get over 40 amps output to my batteries. With one more panel, I will max it out with a full 45 amps. My batteries charge at 45 amps optimally. This controller is the perfect marriage for my batteries.This charge controller tracks my panels super fast and allows me to squeeze more performance all day long from my panels. Installation and use is a breeze. With a large heat sink, it keeps cool while cranking out power. With the Bluetooth connection and App, you can optimize the output settings for your battery ensuring the best charge and longevity for your investment. It comes with presets that work with many batteries, and like I said earlier, you can easily create your own.The App also keeps track of your power production allowing you to see if all is well, or if you need to tweak for better performance. I swear by Victron Energy for my charge controllers. They are expensive, but they are rugged and very well built. They have lots of options and are highly configurable.I think that they are the best, and therefore are a good value for the price. These are very reliable charge controllers, and they get 5 stars from me.

Amazing product. I own 6 victron chargers x3 of these 250/100. I have them temp set up in my room as a test. Now they are in the utility room on mounts. They put off a descent amount of heat, no cooling fan required unless you overpannel and cause clipping, which they will do with ease. Just be careful not to overpanel to much or just upgrade to a higher voltage. Recpmmend doing 48vdc personally.

I had another brand before this and it never seemed to work properly or charge my batteries. This unit is awesome, wish I'd known about it years ago.Now batteries get charged properly and dont' have to worry if it works or not when boon docking.

Works great liked it so much bought another one to run second set of solar panels.
