Naturalizer Women's Baylor Strappy High Heel Sandal

I bought these shoes before, about 5 years ago. I had the tan color so I looked for them every where, I found them at Macy's and the Footwear store for $90. But of course I trust that Amazon would have a better price and they did. My shoes were a size 8.5 so I ordered them in Silver, it might be the material of the Silver compared to the tan color because they were big on me, I ordered a second pair this time a smaller size. It's a winner, the shoes fit perfectly, they are comfortable and they look stylish. I have a very pronounced arch and some shoes do not provide support but this shoes not only have a platform but also the heel is not too wide not to thin, they are perfect for every occasion. The silver for a party or a night out and the tan ones for any every day. I am returning the size 8.5 and getting the tan and the black ones. Whenever I find shoes that are comfortable, sexy, and fits me well ..I buy them in every color. And the price of course, it's a no trainer. First picture the 8.5 second one 8. Get them !!!

I wore them across Sorrento for over 12 hours for my daughter’s wedding. They were so comfortable and easy to dance in - even in the grotto!

I have wide feet with a high arch so it is always difficult to find good fitting shoes. I am familiar with this brand and had a black one of this shoe before, so I knew what to expect. It did not disappoint. As expected, the shoes were very comfortable. I bought these in 2024, wore them to church every time. I don't keep a collection of shoes. I buy one pair, wear them out, and then when I can't wear them anymore, I buy another. I have worn these shoes over these past years and now it has started to show wear and tear and I have stopped wearing them now two years down the road. I don't regret this purchase.

Perfect dress sandals for a wedding! I have big and wide feet and extremely difficult time with shoes-comfort is nearly impossible. But, surprisingly, these shoes got me thru the service, the standing cocktail hour and about 3 hours of dancing-way longer than many many other shoes!. The balls of my feet hurt by then and I switched to low wedges. The only reason for 4 stars is that the material was rough- the sparkly stuff, and it kept catching on my nylon jumpsuit. They’re definitely worth getting, and ideal for a dress.

Update 3/8/2025- ok so, I loved them so much I literally wore them till the leather was coming off the front little wedge at the toe. So I bought a second pair and a beige pair. I’m truly amazed how comfortable they are and how much I wear them. They are literally my go to heels for work. I definitely got every penny out of my first pair. I wore them to an after work event also where my husband was a food judge and we had to run around to visit all the food vendors and restaurants and finally by the time I got home after wearing them from 7 am to 830pm and running around several miles after my normal work day, that was when my feet finally started to hurt a little. Not bad. And nothing like the days where when I would wake up after a long day in heels I’d wake to my feel hurting. No more! These are my favorite brand and favorite every day shoe! Original review: I can wear these all day and stand or walk around at work in my normal day and be fine. I actually wore them to a wedding where we had to walk from the parking area to the venue and reception areas, over 2 miles of walking, without issue. My husbands feet in his dress shoes actually hurt and mine didn’t. LOL My husband thinks they look cute. I love heels but my feet always hurt so I had stopped wearing them but these are great and I have no issues doing my normal day of work in them. They were a bit slippery on the soles when I’d walk on our laminate wood floors when I first got them and it took a bit to get enough scuff on the soles but now it’s fine. I want to get another color now because I like them so much!

I have plantar fasciitis which rears its ugly head now and again. I needed some fancy shoes for an event and was worried I’d cripple myself. These shoes are the best! I danced all night without pain. I did have to return the first pair of 8.5 for a 9 wide. Please get these if you have foot troubles!

UPDATE SAME DAY (7/16/2026). BECAUSE I LIKED THEM EVEN BEING SLIGHTLY TOO LARGE OVER THE INSTEP, I WAS GOING TO ORDER ANOTHER PAIR A HALF SIZE SMALLER THINKING THE STRAPS WOULD BE TIGHTER. MY ORIGINAL PAIR (SIZE 8) WERE $44.70, AND LESS THAN A WEEK LATER, THE SAME SHOE IS $69.30. THAT'S LIKE A 50% INCREASE. NOT GOING TO ORDER ANY MORE AND WILL LOOK AT DIFFERENT ONES. I really loved these shoes, but had to return. I usually wear an 8, but there is no way to tighten straps over top of foot and they were really loose on my foot. The straps down by the toes were fine, but over the instep, I could put my fingers between the straps and my foot. Wish there was a way to adjust those straps. Felt comfortable for the few minutes I tried them on in the house, but because of the looseness, my foot "wobbled" too much and slipped. I have a somewhat narrow foot, and may order 7.5 size in the future, but the price went up quite a bit before I even returned them within a week.

As I get older, comfort and support become more important. But I also care a lot about style and looking good—I wasn’t frumpy before I became a mom and I refuse to start now. I was researching heels that look good but also provide adequate comfort and support for longer periods of time. Sure, I can afford to spend $300+ on hand-made quality shoes that promise comfort, but I’m frugal and don’t want to do that. My search led me to naturalizer and I gave these sandals a try. Yes, they cost more than Payless but they’re not unattainable for the median budget. Wowwwww. Wow. Wow. I was blown away by how comfortable and supportive they are for hours on end. They look super cute and stylish but your feet won’t hate you. They are true to size, have amazing arch support, and work with anything. I came back and bought a second color within a week because I sadly find that in life, if I find something I love, I need to snag a few for when the brand inevitably stops making it. If you’re on the fence, buy these!!! Even if you need to save/budget for a bit—they are well worth it.

Very nice shoes. Perfect for parties. I don’t normally wear heels but these were very comfortable and I even managed to dance in them. Would really like another pair when they restock.
