Works well
I am using this as a router lift, and it works well and appears to be stable. As others have mentioned, the top metal plate is a bit thin and flexes under pressure so I will need to add another thicker plate. The adjustment is smooth and fairly easy to operate, a larger adjustment knob would be better. Would I buy another one ?Yes, even with the alterations I will make, I still think it is worth the money.

Really good value for money, works well for the price
Bought to make a lift for a homemade router table. Works really well and has a smooth lift and steady platform.

No complaints
I'm using this as a router lift with a large 1/2 inch router. It seems sturdy holds the router well, and gives me 0.1mm adjustment, which I'm very pleased with it. It may not last forever but, this is not really it's intended use, and I'm at the upper end of it's load capacity, so I realise I'm possibly pushing it a bit. I'm only a hobbyist woodworker, so if it only lasts a year, I'd probably just replace it with another.

A solid piece of kit
Purchased as an adjustable platform for closeup photography, this is the perfect tool for the job at a bargain price. It has a total adjustment range of ~11cm (~4.3-15.5cm), and provides a solid platform with smooth adjustment throughout.

Works well
Smaller than expected but I didn't check the size. It does work for my intended project

Excellent and well made
I got this to use for macro photography. It’s well made, solid and looks like it will last. Very happy with it.

Weak to lift, good to lower
I used it in the router table to lift a 1020W plunging router. The lift is too weak to work against the compression springs in the router legs when I tried to lift the router upward. However it is fine to lower the router down. So what I do- 1) lift the router higher than necessary with a self made wooden lever, 2) lock the routing depth with the stock router lock - a little lever attached to the leg, 3)extend the lift until it touches the bottom of the router, 4) release the router depth lock, 5) lower the router to the desired height using the lift. If the manufacturer had used a bigger lifting screw and a bigger handle on the screw it would have been an ideal accessory for a router table.
