Perfect sale
So far so good, Fitted perfectly into a A4 b8 xenon headlight with no modification needed. No dashboard warnings and the Light is a lot more powerful than the standard D3S lamps.

Not canbus error free
Very disappointed with these bulbs. I spent some time reading reviews and looking at recommendations to check for canbus issues. These came recommended, but when I fitted them, they stayed on for a second or so then switched off. Unfortunately I must have one of the 2% of canbus incompatible cars (2011 Focus 3) as this happened with another previous pair of bulbs I tried. Led's work fine in main beam, but not dipped. I can only give them a low rating because to be fair, it's an incompatibility issue with my car and not the bulb itself

Great product! Lovely and bright! Didn’t quite fit my High Beam socket though…
Lovely and bright. Ideal for projector lights. The 360° light output gives a much more natural than other blade type lamps. Look carefully and the mounting on your car though. I have the H7’s, and the diameter of the second step of the base above the H7 shaped flange is just slightly wider than that of a standard halogen. They fit beautifully into the dip beams of my 2018 Hyundai i30, but not into the cornering lights or high beams. I’ve had other lamps from D-Lumina in the past, and they’ve always been bright, durable and easy to fit. Having looked more closely at the product pictures, it’s pretty clear that these are just slightly too chubby. Would 100% buy again, if I knew for sure they’d fit!

Worth the money

A good upgrade
Easy to fit. They provide a very clear bright light with no "dark spots" or shadows. A good upgrade over standard bulbs.

H7 halogen is obsolete tech. Get these instead.
Easy to fit, being gen2 and not having a fan or booster. Not overly bright so won't attract the Road Rats. Good pattern and clear cut off as per DoT rules

Unusably bright on DRL, main beam OK, not error free (Golf mk6)
Pros • VW specific fitment so they will fit high beam/DRL in a Golf mk6 • Useful high beam upgrade where extra beam scatter not an issue. Cons • Not error-free – get errors on dash for all four (2 sides, high beam and DRL) • Daytime running light is crazy, unusably bright unless you can use Vagcom/VCDS to dim • Very unlikely IMHO to be useful as dipped bulbs • Still more difficult to fit than needed as there’s nothing for leverage. More detail I've tried and sent back some LED H15s before but hoped that after nearly two years things would have moved on and they might work properly. Unfortunately not quite. Bulbs are generally tricky to fit on VW's due to limited space so it's hard to get enough purchase for turning the bulb. But I've fitted lots to our two VWs over the 12 years or so we've had them. The standard bulbs have a big plastic tab out the back so that it's easier to turn them. Why the manufacturers of all these LEDs don't get that I'll never know. They really need a tool to be supplied with them. But, with the help of some gloves for grip and a lot of effort, I got them in and working. Whether I'd be able to get them out again without removing the headlights is anyone's guess. Before I get on to how well the main beams work, daytime running lights.... These are unusably bright. They are stupidly, blindingly bright. The first time I went out with them, I was flashed by a police car. Results may vary depending on what car you are using these on, but on a Golf GTD/GTI headlamp, tehy are no use - UNLESS you have VCDS/Vagcom and can code down the brightness of the DRLs. I did this today, but have not had a chance to try them on the road yet, but I think they will be OK (I'm trying 50% to begin with). It's byte 24 of the Central Electronics coding if you're wondering. These are not error free on my car. When I first installed one there was no error, but after driving a little with it, errors started appearing. With both fitted I get errors for both main beams and both DRLs. They also flicker when the car is started. I tried installing just one to begin with and have included some pictures which show one main beam at a time in use. I then fitted the other and have included a picture (where the car is a tiny bit further forward (that's the same post on the left) as I returned there after fitting). I have increased the brightness on these pictures (but by the same amount on each) to give what I remember as being a truer impression (the dashcam I used made them seem dimmer than in real life). My subjective view is that these give a more even spread of (obviously) whiter light. They also light a little higher (fitted in my headlamps at least). I am not that convinced (as I wasn't with the previous ones I tried) that they reach much/any further. The pictures where I'm parked seem to indicate they do a little, but I don't have a picture with just both halogens unfortunately to compare (d'oh). But for main beam where there's no risk of poor alignment dazzling people, I think they are probably a worthwhile improvement. But they're only any use if you have access to a coding tool to reduce DRL brightness.
