What is the max watt single speaker that can be used with this? It says 300W,so is that a 150W speaker for L and R, or it can be a single 300W speaker

I have 250 watt speakers to each volume controll with a 1000 watt head unit running 4 they work fine. You can run more than 1 speaker just make sure your input is only 300 watt from the head unit. Hope this helps.

I assume this will this work for one speaker mono if only using one set of connections ?

yes this will work just fine as a mono connection and you can set the ohm load on it as well ....this is a very good product

How do you get the on and off switch to actually turn the speaker off. The on and off button doesn’t work and this is my second unit
