Great little gadget, will buy again if it ever breaks
I've been using this for a few months now, and for the cost it works well, seems to be well made because it's still holding up, and provides clear detailed descriptions on the codes through the car scanner app. Its the perfect size to be out of the way when driving so it works for live testing too

Must have tool
I'm a professional mechanic with over 30 years in the industry and i am really amazed at what all this does for the price it reads and clears trouble codes and shows data for pretty much every sensor, switch or solenoid and gives dashboard features..Plus shows obd2 readiness .. Great tool at a great price

Great tool for the value
The OBD2 Scanner Bluetooth SinoTrack Auto Diagnostic Scan Tool is a great tool for the price. I use it to connect to the Torque Pro App on my 2001 Silverado 1500 2wd that has a LS 6.0 LQ9 Swap. The app in combination with the Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner allow me to see different gauges that my regular display does not track, such as acceleration, 0-60, 1/8 of a mile, and 1/4 of mile times. In addition, I am able to run diagnostics and clear fault codes. The diagnostics is very accurate and it connects to Google to search for possible solutions on the code displayed. It definitely has more functionality on the app side that I have not explored. The only issues that I have had so far is with the connection. There are times that I have to turn off and back on the Bluetooth settings just to make it connect. Sometimes even though it is paired to my phone, it loses the communication and I have to restart. I would like to try installing a tablet on it to keep it on all the time.Overall, I am very happy with this product. It is a great way to diagnose problems with your car and track your performance. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable OBD2 scanner.Pros:AffordableEasy to useConnects to Torque Pro AppAccurate diagnosticsConnects to Google to search for solutionsMore functionality available in the appCons:Sometimes the connection is unstableWould be nice to have a way to keep it on all the timeOverall:A great product for the price. Would definitely recommend it.

Worked for a bit but then it literally screwed up the ECU
It worked fine for a bit but then it wouldnt connect at all. I tried leaving it in the obd2 for a bit to see if it would but then it threw my cars abs light and traction control light on, and it broke my obd2 port until i unplugged the battery.

I like! I'm getting another
This is a really nice, full-featured unit (along with the free software). It was easy to install and set up. I like that it reads the computers from all the devices throughout the car. You can configure it for very nearly your class of car (e.g. Mazda with Skyactiv drivetrain). This makes it possible for a passenger to read fault codes on the fly (e.g. if the Check Engine Light comes on while traveling on an interstate with few exits. It gives a quick answer to the question of whether we should pull over NOW, or whether we are OK until the next exit or our final destination. We like it enough that we're getting another one for our other car. Please note that the dongle is sort of large. We have ours plugged in to a space-saver 2-way splitter, which solves that problem. I would recommend doing this even if you don't have a second device, so that your legs don't bump the device.

Meh
It works I guess. The app in the documentation doesn't work and does nothing bit send you to purchase apps or membership. I used car scanner app but I'm sure there are better ones. I have obdlinkmx in another car and it is much better but costs more. I wouldn't buy this one again.

if works!!
I've been using Torque, and OBD II adapters for years now. I usually loose them every so often to "friends" that borrow them to read error codes in their cars. So I was recently in the market for a new adapter and found this SinoTrack one for a great price! I bought it expecting it to be weird or maybe not functional for the price I paid but this thing works great! So far it's as good as the green one "scantool" that it's replacing. It. This adapter works well with torque, it connects fast, and it refreshes data fast.
