If I could give 6 stars? I would.
I went in on this with hesitation given some of the other reviews. I have been installing my own car audio since 1996. This amp went into my daily driver 2004 Trailblazer. The stock radio was trash, only one speaker worked. I installed a Sony XAV-AX8000 head unit and kicker 6.5 coaxials in all 4 doors. It was decent. At least all four speakers worked. I've never been a huge fan of Sony head units? But I got a great deal on it. I decided to grab up this 5 channel amp after watching an amp dyno video on YouTube. It seemed like it would fit the bill nicely to power my 6.5"s and a single 12" sub. I literally just finished installing the amp, the subwoofer isn't even installed yet. I'm hearing sound quality that I would easily compare to my JL amps that are installed in my other vehicle. I had a Hertz 4 channel a few years back and this really reminds me of it. If you set the gains properly, you don't try to destroy your speakers with it, and have at least a moderate level of knowledge in car audio install? (Clean ground, power down one side of the vehicle, signal down the other, properly sized copper wire for power) You'll be super impressed by the sound quality of this amp. My front stage (front area of the vehicle) is superb and this is only a daily driver. I can't speak to longevity just yet? But I'll definitely update the review in 6 months or so. For the price though? This amp is a complete beast. Completely satisfied with this purchase. Update: Hooked up the subwoofer which is a shallow mount 12" single voice coil, in a .7 cubic foot box currently. Not ideal for an SUV? But it still sounds robust and full. The amp has no issue pushing this 450w RMS sub, and I only have the gain set to about a quarter of the dial. This really is an impressive amp! When I finish building my downfire sub box with passive radiator, I'll update this update.

Sooo satisfied with the quality sound and power.
I purchased this product for over $200 in May 2024. Initially, I was hesitant because I doubted it could deliver 1000 watts of RMS power. However, I’ve been using it to power 100 watts of 4-door speakers and a 12-inch subwoofer, and I’m amazed by the clear sound it produces and the earth-shattering power. A year after my purchase, I decided to write this review. This amp has held up remarkably well. I’ve owned many name-brand amplifiers, and by far, this one surpasses them in terms of power and price ratio. I guarantee that anyone who purchases this product will be completely satisfied. I highly recommend it to anyone.

My 3rd Rockville amp
I have a DB14, and now 2 DB55's installed in my ride, and I couldn't be happier with any of them. I've owned RF, and Kicker amps in the past, and they're both good, but my Rockville's outperform both at a much more affordable price. If wired correctly, these amps run pretty cool even when i'm rockin out, they barely get more than a little warm. Having basically 2 amps built into a single box allows a new build to get up and running quickly and inexpensively as well as giving a lot of flexibility to an established system that you are adding to. I'm using my 2nd DB55 to bring out more mid bass and give a fuller sound to the overall system, and it is doing that flawlessly. Even the remote bass adjust knob is all metal construction and will last, unlike the plastic junk many of the manufacturers offer. I recommend the DB series amps to anyone looking for a great amp at an awesome price.

really decent amp for the money and sounds very good after it was all adjusted for my system
5 channel amp, good quality connections although I'd rather had ring terminals.the Allen wrenches r included for the spkr wires though, amp lights up that I didn't expect, works great with my tweeters and even the sub sounds better then my old amp ever did and it was a much higher quality name amp.some have complained of it going I to safe mode but mine hasn't yet and I do crank it with ny t tops off but I also am running a capacitor for extra power to not drain my alternator and making the system get got.im running a kicker 10in sub and 4 alpine speakers and 2 alpine tweeters.with the gain adjusted properly on amp I can turn my android radio up all the way and no distortion at all which is way to loud even with windows open and tops off.will I am running 2ohm speakers and it sounds great.make sure all youre positive go to positive and vice versa for the ,evasive wires.that really makes a difference and doesn't damage you're sysyem.in apx another year when my other car is done if this one seems to be holding up I will probably get another one and or the next step up model they have.i like I can turn it up and feel the music as well as just hear it with no distortion or over powering my speaker system.id say if ya crank it and get distortion in speaker you are over powering the speakers you have in car so either turn the amp down or get better speaker system.i run oversized speaker wire and they are soldiered to my speaker for great connection and very little resistance. There are some actually good videos of set up on there website to watch as im sure not many do but if ya do what the guys shows ya you will have very little.problems with the amp setup.takes awhile to perform all the checks he is doing but if done correctly you will enjoy a pretty good sounding amp for under 290 bucks.my old amp was closer to 800 bucks and I burnt it up after apx 3 years maybe.nainly from poor quality inside.id pull the rca Jack's out to do something when I was changing speaker amd the terminals inside amp came out alo.oulled the fuses to male sure no power to amp even though I disconnected the main fuse and the fuse terminals came out from being hot.Just wasn't a well made amp for the money! Voltage draw is less then my old amp also and seems to run much cooler then my old amp.So just don't expect options from a 1k amp or more on this 290 dollar amp and you won't be disapointed.i also really like the quick start when it's turned on and not a second or maybe 2 delay my other one had.4 star rating is pretty high rating for me to give as i.prerty picky and a 5 start one would be like a $1500 or more amp with more options so you get what you pay for but for the money this one so far seems darn good!

No disappointments no matter what role you need it for.
This is a great amp. Hard to beat at this price point. Very light and compact for the power output yet still feels substantial and of good quality. Easily powers an entire system with good quality sound. The options are good enough that this will never be obsolete , can fit somewhere in whatever setup you have and will perform admirably in any role you need it to fill well into the future. Good deal all the way around.

Not a 5 channel amp-only 3 channels usable
Had a professional shop install this amplifier along with a Subroofer and everything else that's new for a nice audio system. two back speakers two front door speakers and two tweeters. the shop called me right before I picked up the car to tell me that the amp is junk and not able to produce five channels. It can only handle the front speakers and the amplifier. I cannot recommend buying this even though all the product reviews said it delivers great sound quality. The numbers advertised on the box are incorrect as well. It does not deliver as advertised. I listen to it when I was connected with two speakers and subwoofer it sounded OK but not even close to what you would expect with those numbers given. Compared to the Alpine amp that I got for only $200 more then this one sounds really bad and has crackling noise.

Very good for the money.
I decided to upgrade the stereo system in my girlfriends car for her birthday. Basic speaker upgrade and add a 10 inch sub. I was going for a good sounding budget system. About $500 total. 5 channel amplifier with about 1,000w/RMS for around $150s I figured it was worth a try. I'm glad I did. Real world number are around 165x4@4 ohm and 610@2 ohm It is comparable in power and quality to the Alpine PDX-V9 I have in my Jeep although it is not as efficient and has about twice the footprint. But for a 1/3 of the price I'm not complaining. This was the first Rockville product I ever bought but I'm sure it will not be the last.

First dabble with car audio.
Wanted to upgrade my car audio, did some research, not a whole lot but came across this for my budget on a amp at the moment. Got new speakers. Pioneer ts a653ch component speakers in front and pioneer ts a683fh in rear doors in my 08 mazdaspeed 3 hatchback all wired to the amp. And single sub in hatch. But I'm going back and forth testing subwoofer rn. Got a 12 JL W0 300rms @4ohm and a 12 kicker comp r 500rms @2ohm I'm switching back and forth to see what I like better in the ported box I got. Ordered and Waiting for my sealed box to see if I like either of those in that better. But biggest thing I seen people say about this is it gets hot. I have mine turned up on settings and live in Florida it doesn't get very hot for me. Just mount like I did and mount it to get air circulation. 1 inch spacers maybe 3 bucks. 2 pieces of wood like 20 inch long and some screws to match. I think I paid 12 bucks to mount mine to back of seat. I like it. No issues yet and pumps enough power to everything. Also not trying to blow down the block.
