While silicone. Does not compete with the color of the thread, works well. Price ok.

I love these translucent spool huggers! They do not distract from my threads! I have used colored ones for several years and am so excited to find these! Love seeing all my thread colors now! Definitely will be buying many more!

They do what is advertised. They seem durable. But they are much more expensive than others that are multi colored. Don’t understand why. Don’t you have to put color in the others? I’d think these would be the same or less expensive.
