I even dropped it in a sauce pan once (oops!) and after cleaning it off and letting it air dry, it still functions perfectly. That level of longevity is a huge plus for me. Lockable flame is a wonderful feature, though I do not always want it, but it's excellent when I need it. Gunmetal colour is extremely tasteful and adds an element of elegance to my gear. Overall, I'm thoroughly satisfied with it for my own use of burning candles and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a solid, durable, and stylish torch!

The item itself is a bit more brassy looking than the gold of the Amazon pic. They don't seem to have scrimped on materials as the item is heavier than you would expect. Pretty easy to get going with settings to adjust the flame to what you need. The item doesn't come loaded with gas, health and safety :) so don't forget to buy that separately.
