elago Classic Pencil Case Compatible with Apple Pencil 1st Generation, Perfect Grip, Protective Skin, Silicone Sleeve[Yellow]

Had wanted a simple skin for decorative purposes but this grip cover worked out even better. It looks great & makes my Apple pencil easier to locate like a skin but adds the comfort of a grip and the protection of a case - keeping it from sliding off surfaces is half the battle there! I was worried it wouldn't fit in my existing pen loop holder on my iPad case but it goes in great. See photo. Be very careful with installation. You can overstretch the cover and make the cap not fit snugly or the nib not be visible enough to change. The best way to install is to wear rubberized gardening gloves or even dishwashing gloves. You just keep smoothing the sleeve up onto the pencil instead of pushing the pencil into the case. Start at the tip and just slide your hand all the way up. The glove keeps your hand from slipping on the silicone. Trust me it works. You shouldn't have to use any force if you wear the gloves. It's what we use for putting on medical compression. Don't break your expensive Apple device installing a protective case. :)

I've bought elago's product before, I love how they deliver their brand message and personality through the products: the simplicity. I've read many other review saying that it was too hard to get the case on, however, it only took me 3 minutes to dress my apple pen up! You need to slowly slide the pen into the sleeve with a bit-by-bit light force from the tip and tight push at the cap side to have the pen lie perfectly and completely into the case. Be patient and gentle ^^ I also love the hexagon shape of the sleeve, this prevents my pen to stay in place on a surface. Also, it will definitely make your pen bulkier, but not too much. It's like you're holding a average-shape marker during your experience with the pen, that's it. Overall: • Design: 9.5/10 (the cap sleeve should be connected to the body, that way we won't lose the pen cap during charging) • Color: 10/10 • Durable: not yet experienced • Installation: 8.5/10 (I still had to push with effort tho) • On-hand experience: 8.5/10 (It would be better if the skin is thinner)

This case is adorable. It fits super tight on the pencil which I think would make it hard to take off but I’ll worry about that when I get sick of it. The only thing that stinks is that it won’t fit in my storage case anymore because it make it more bulky but it’s not that big of a deal.

I loved the look of this silicone grip, which is ultimately why I thought I would give it a try. I knew what to expect after reading some of the other reviews; this thing was a pain in the ass to put on! I swear it took me 10 minutes and a lot of cursing. But that actually isn't why I rated this 4 stars. I took off a star simply because the grip would slowly slide up my pencil the more I used it, and the cap wouldn't stay on. Since it's magnetized and requires contact with the pencil base to stay put, the grip sliding up and pressing against the cute eraser would push the cap off. It was quite disappointing; I had high hopes for this grip because it was such a pretty color and cute design, but ultimately it didn't work for me. I swapped it out and I'm currently using a different grip that I had originally bought to use with my 2nd gen apple pencil.

If you like having multiple cases for devices, this may not be the product for you. I ordered this because my previous Apple Pencil cases fit way too loose for some reason and I wanted a tighter fit. I saw all the good reviews and the cool design & said why not? But omg when it came to the mail, I was so damn frustrated with getting it on. It slid on 80% and wouldn’t go anymore I was afraid I would have to cut that shit to get my Apple Pencil out!!! I didn’t want to press my pencil down on a surface in fear that I would break it from all that pressure. It should not take that much pressure to get a damn case on! Finally i took the case back off with extreme effort of pulling it inside out and I slid it back on again because i refused to be defeated by a damn pencil case. It finally slid on, looks good, I like it but shit it feels like I’m stuck with this case on my pencil like damn what if I wanted to get more cases or replace it one day!? Cool design, tight fit, actually fits the 1st generation pencil PERFECTLY but it should have definitely been made to have an easier way to put it on maybe a Velcro strap? I have no idea but I almost sent it back! In fact, it makes me wonder if the cheaper options for an Apple Pencil pencil case would be easier to throw on but I digress. Semi satisfied with the purchase.

Love the silicone. The thickness with the silicone makes my Apple Pencil so easy to hold I love it. I have a apple pen case also from Amazon and it fits my Apple Pencil still with its thicker case on it just a little snug. It took a second to get it on. Just bc. Ya know. It’s a snug fit to the pen and is silicone but looovvveee it and is so cute maybe pictures later

L'article est conforme à la description et aux images. Petit bémol que je retrouve dans les autres commentaires clients (que je n'ai pas lu avant d'effectuer l'achat), il est très difficile d'enfiler la gaine autours du stylet. Avec un peu de force et de patience (tout en restant délicat tout de même!) ça passe! Le rendu est sympa, je le trouve agréable à l'utilisation. Pour information, je dessine et écris sur l'Ipad tous les jours ;)

Beautiful and served its purpose.

I have been using this for a few months now and it still feels as good as new, its a quirky case that adds a bit of fun to the normally serious looking Apple Pencil! My only gripe with it is that it is a fraction too long, the case rides up the pencil and prevents the lid from seating properly sometimes. I can't complain that it doesn't fit in my iPad case though because I should have thought about that when I bought it, however the shape of this case does mean that my pencil no longer rolls off the desk, which is a bonus!

Ich habe das Case für den Apple Pencil 1st Generation gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden. Das Silikonmaterial fühlt sich hochwertig an, liegt angenehm in der Hand und schützt den Pencil zuverlässig vor Kratzern oder leichten Stößen. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass die Hülle einfach anzubringen und wieder abzunehmen ist, ohne dass sie verrutscht. Außerdem wirkt der Pencil durch die Hülle griffiger, was gerade beim längeren Schreiben oder Zeichnen sehr angenehm ist. Fazit: Für mich ein kleines, aber sehr nützliches Zubehör – schützt, verbessert die Handhabung und sieht schlicht und elegant aus. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen!

Ho recentemente acquistato la cover in silicone protettiva per Apple Pencil con un design simile ad una matita reale e devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla sua funzionalità e estetica.
