Fits my needs for on the go interviews
This mic works with my Samsung S22 ultra, with a Movo UCMA-1 Female 3.5mm TRS to USB Type-C adapter. Out a mic flag on it and it looks very professionalThe recorded sound on recorded videos had a very faint background hiss, but it's a great mic for the price. I found that the faint hiss disappears if I plug the mic in *before* pulling up my phone camera. The mic picks up people's words well with the mic head pointed directly at the interviewees, and didn't pick up much background noise at all (very faint background noise and can still hear the interviewee very well.A plus on this mic in the longer handle, which can keep my own hand further away from speaker's mouths, making the interviews less awkward (in comparison to using shorter mics with my fist just less than a foot from the speaker's face). Not sure yet about the durability but will update after my next interview event. Happy with my purchase!

Great microphone—you’ll need more to make it work
It’s a great microphone. It picks up great without having the mic right under your mouth or face.I’m new to this and didn’t realize I would need to buy more stuff to make it work. Someone in the field would have known this info. At any rate, I set out researching to make this mic work. Main criteria is not have a lot of equipment because it will be taken elsewhere back and forth from home. Here’s what you see in the pic that works for me for my needs. I bought everything off Amazon.Digital iRigPre - To connect this XLR microphone directly to my iPad enabling high-quality audio recording (can use smartphone iPhone or android or laptop). It comes with cords to plug into android or Apple devices.https://a.co/d/hzGY1nQXLR Cable - It comes it different lengths. I got 3feet.https://a.co/d/elqDXL3Desktop mic stand - I only need to use 3 pieces of this equipment, don’t need the boom arm.https://a.co/d/18AvVwIFoam mic covershttps://a.co/d/9P1SwiR(Not in the pic)Monitoring/Recording headset with 3.5 mm Jackhttps://a.co/d/cQ7LHdBTriangle Mic Flag - The molding in this mic flag fits this type of skinny reporter mic / Triangular Interview Mic Flag, 5mm-39mm Hole ABS Moldinghttps://a.co/d/6qELOhq(Not in the pic)3” Contour Stickers - Works very well and looks good to customize mic flag (bought both 2” & 3” stickers)https://a.co/d/1dblrsR

Good for the price but quiet
The build quality is excellent, but the output is quite low. I wanted to use this with my Zoom F2 audio recorder, but it could not pick up the input. It works with my Tascam DR40x, but it is best plugging straight into my canon r6. I use it with a female xlr to 3.5mm cable.

Excellent Mic for Noisy ENG Environments and a Great Value
I do a lot of recording at airports and airshows around operating aircraft. I needed an interview mic with excellent noise cancellation and tuned to pull the voices of my subjects out of noisy environments. The HM-M2 does a great job at both. I was also surprised at how it just feels like a quality piece of equipment when you pick it up. I am using it via XLR to a Zoom H5 and wirelessly to my DSLR using a Comica BoomX-U wireless receiver/transmitter pair (with an XLR to 3.5mm unbalanced cable). The sound quality is excellent and I couldn't be happier with the value for the money that this mic delivers. The key to using this mic is that it must be close to your subject (4-5" or less) to get good volume, noise separation and sound quality. If you try to use it like a shotgun mic, you will be disappointed.

No sound
This microphone is garbage. Doesn’t pick up anything. I have a XLR cord, and I can’t get this thing to be loud without me yelling. WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN, if EVERYONE does this.

Well built. Sounds great!
The industry standard in the video production field is the EV RE50 when it comes to handheld mics. I had one and it recently got stolen from a job. At the moment I couldn’t justify spending $150 on anew on. I bought the Movo because of the reviews it got and figured if it didn’t work as needed I would just send it back. (It’s easy to do that with Amazon ordered items ) I was doing run and gun interviews in a VERY LOUD hall and it worked flawlessly. I would say it did better than the RE50. Having used this once in theses conditions I have full confidence in using this in professional applications. Well done Movo. Very well built. Has a nice weight to it that gives it more credibility. Very happy and would recommend this to anyone looking for a less expensive option to the industry standard.

Good quality mic. Sounds great.
I use four of them for podcasting and they work really well. Very clear. I wish the body was a little bigger so they would fit in the common stand size, but I have some stand couplers that do hold them snugly. I was hoping the handling noise would be a bit less, but for $50 each you can't beat it and I don't need them to be held in hand anyway.

No funciona en Galaxy Note 10
Lastimosamente el micrófono no funciona en un celular Galaxy Note 10. El audio es reventado y distorsionado. Con otra marca de celular si funcionó.
