Powerful, Compact, and Built for Action
The Canon EOS R7 has completely won me over—it’s the perfect mirrorless camera for anyone serious about sports or fast-action photography. The battery life is surprisingly strong, lasting through long shoots without the need to swap mid-event, which is a big plus when you’re on the move. Its zoom performance (paired with the right RF or adapted EF lenses) is sharp and reliable, giving me the reach I need without compromising image quality. Speaking of quality—the photos are crisp, vibrant, and full of detail, even in tough lighting. The autofocus locks on fast, and the camera’s continuous shooting mode is smooth and incredibly responsive.Despite its professional-grade performance, it’s lightweight and compact enough to carry comfortably all day. The controls are intuitive and the menu system is user-friendly, even if you’re transitioning from a DSLR. It’s a powerhouse in a manageable size, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Love this camera
The camera works great with a wonderful picture quality. Very easy to use with the settings and with some research you can set it up perfectly for all your needs. If the manual is confusing there are many videos on YouTube to help explain the set points. The size is perfect in my hands and the shutter speed is definitely sufficient for my needs.

Fantastic body for the price
A fantastic APS-C semi-professional body. So far I have had a wonderful time shooting with it, especially with the amazing autofocus. It has a good-sized buffer, a great frame rate for both mechanical and electronic shutter, and produces amazing quality RAW pictures. The IBIS is excellent, battery life is way better than advertised depending on shooting style, and is quite comfortable to hold. Ease of use is great, especially with the vertical dial and joystick. It feels durable with high quality plastic, functions without any hitches, and is overall with the money. It especially writes fast to V90 UHS-II memory cards since it has dual card slots. Overall excellent!

This camera is a beast
Going from a Canon D60 to this was like jumping in a supercar. It's an incredible experience. I LOVE the autofocus on this thing. It's so incredibly fast. And the burst mode is nuts. Taking wildlife photos like birds and other super fast things is amazing. It does such a brilliant job of stopping motion with incredible sharpness throughout the image. The lightweight body and ergonomics are really nice. We have it paired with a EFS 55-250 on an EF adapter and it works very well. With the speed at which it takes photos, I've never been let down because I missed a shot due to the camera not being ready. It's always ready. As long as you leave it on while on a shoot, it will never fail to capture your world. I like being able to use the touchscreen to point to where I want it to focus. It may seem like a gimmick but has come in handy several times so far.I did a bunch of research and diving into videos and I think the R7 is the best value right now in terms of cost to features and performance. It really is a beast of a camera. Definitely a keeper.

Great for sports
Excellent option if you're a semi-advanced enthusiast or a small scale professional. I love that the cropped sensor gives extra reach for distance shots (I mainly shoot sports and dogs)Can struggle a bit to focus in low light but I'm able to manually show it what I want to focus on so just takes a moment to adjust if I'm shooting after sunset.

Great for wildlife photography
What can I say about this camera it's amazing for a 1.6 crop sensor and its impressive 32.5 mega pixels. I do wildlife photography and this does very well even if you have to deep crop a photo and still leaving the photo crisp and sharp. I have it paired with a sigma 150- 600mm f5-6.3 DG lens with the help of an adapter. Camera is priced very well. The auto focus is fast, low to no noise in the photos, very portable with the RF 100-400mm lens, very easy to use. I'm also very happy with the camera when it comes to taking portraits.
