Beg Bug combat manually author's guide to killing them straight from his mouth!
Go to your vet and ask for a prescription of Revolution (selamectin)! This stuff is a wonder! I have three dogs and a cat and not only did I have a major flea infestation but a mite one to. Just after 2 weeks, the mites were gone. (NO JOKE!) The fleas took longer but after about 3 years of dealing with them they were all killed in about 1-2 months. On top of it all just 2 weeks ago, I had my niece stay over and sure enough BED BUGS.... UGH, so I thought I would have to treat everything but for whatever reason they just died away and I know I seen at least 30-40 of them come off of her on the first night. I think the Revolution is what killed them as the dogs sleeps with us and this medicine make even their dander poison to insects. Been using it on them for 3 years without any side effects to them or any other person or animal. (I have four birds that had mites and that was cured to as the cat likes to sit on top of the cage and watch them.) It has now been 2 weeks and my wife and I have been doing full inspections once during the day and twice at night 12 midnight and 3 A.M. And all we found was two still alive but acting lethargic and unable to run away or even barely move. Been 4 days with no bed bugs or and since month 2 of starting revolution no other bugs either. (Except the occasional spider, that also dies maybe from lack of food.) However, it should not be considered a cure-all but a preventative. For those that do have Bed Bug infestations I recommend using Nuvan products. The Nuvan prostrips work the longest but both products are poisonous to people and animals to. Therefore, with the direct spray you need to vacate for 2 hours. For the really bad cases use the pro-strips after the spray and also use "CimeXa Insecticide Dust" (kills stragglers and prevent re-infestation) on all cracks or anywhere a credit card can fit and vacate for at least 2 weeks sometimes a month according to an expert I have been consulting with that specializes in Bed Bugs. In addition, the biggest thing to clear them is to remove every piece of clutter or item on the floor, bag everything, and seal it. If in summer a car/Van in Wisconsin will heat the items to over 150 degrees F and Bed Bugs die at 122 degrees F including larvae/nymphs and eggs. These four things have saved my rear-end more than once so I hope this helps. Remember the powder stays effective forever unless disturbed, gets wet, or is vacuumed up so reapply at least once every so often as your situation dictates. prostips http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0073ZOOQ6?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5 Nuvan direct aresol spray http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Q0DVXB6?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1 CimeXa Insecticide Dust http://www.amazon.com/CimeXa-Insecticide-ounces-bottle-Rockwell/dp/B0085HRWI8/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1434434663&sr=8-6&keywords=bed+bug++Dust

A+!!! BUY THESE IMMEDIATELY! But don't use them to treat areas where you will be breathing the air anywhere nearby!
Holy sh!# the dead cockroaches! I live in a crappy apartment full of roaches (OK, I only see one or two a month, but I know they're there!), and I also recently got infested with bedbugs (cue screaming and hair pulling). I let the apartment management company call the shots with the bedbugs for a full month, and zero results. Also zero good nights of sleep. So I threw away the mattress and box-springs and just to make sure, I left for a week and put these all over the apartment. I used them at the concentration on the label. I have to admit that once I threw my mattress out I think that got rid of the bedbugs (take note, fellow sufferers - just deal with the mattress, and then don't get a new mattress right away; they're probably in the mattress, rather than anything else, and if you miss one, it will be easier to deal with if you are sleeping on a bare cot. Buy the new mattress once you are 100% sure of eradication). HOWEVER, when I came back from my week away, there were dead roaches only, and I didn't see new ones for weeks! Unfortunately I soon was re-infested with roaches from my neighbors, but I was super impressed that instead of running away from the poison, like roaches run away from foggers, the roaches wandered wherever they wanted, and died wherever they stood! (Don't use foggers, they make roaches run away and hide, and will spread them all over your house.) I have re-purposed the strips to treat my kitchen cabinets long term, since they last for months. However, I noticed that there are strong words in the instructions on the package about breathing this stuff, and you don't want to share a room with them, or leave them where food or dishes are kept, so I cleaned out the cabinets first, and never open them (not that I kept much in there anyway, roaches like those kind of spots). I also put half of a strip into each of the garbage bags that I was using to store my stuff during the bedbug treatments. Some stuff I could put into a hot dryer, but stuff like lamps, DVDs, and shoes don't work in a spinning dryer so well! I have now taken everything out of the bags, and NO re-infestation! Yay!!!! SUPER A+ RATING!!!!

It works!
Worked for treating the things i couldnt spray with pesticide. Works on bedbugs too. Very much a good product. It works for a while but is HIGHLY toxic. Large peices, roughly 2/7 inches. For keeping your home safe definetly worth it. Can use anywhere from 2 weeks to a month.

These really work.
I bought these to deal with a bed bug issue. I have no idea how they got in, but luckily it was caught quickly before it got out of hand. Because I rent, I had to use the exterminator my landlords required. I spoke with them and told them I was using this to fumigate my stuff that couldn't be heat treated. They didn't seem to have issue with me using it. You have to be very careful and handle with nitrile gloves which can be purchased anywhere. This is a pesticide and will harm you if handled improperly. I used a dedicated pair of scissors and cut the strips in half for my bagged items, with half going in one bag. This should take care off the issue (they are still sitting, the longer the better). In between sprayings, I used these to help fumigate the spare room that couldn't be sprayed. No bugs had been observed in it, but I wasn't taking a chance. You must calculate the square footage of your room and put in the appropriate number of strips in the cages. I hung them around the room, put in a fan to circulate the fumes, then sealed off the room with plastic sheeting over the door to prevent the fumes from escaping. You must make sure the seal is tight and no air escapes. I was out of the apt for a week, but I had to come back for the second week. This setup ensured the room was properly fumigated, but I and my dog were not exposed to the fumes. Do not expose yourself to these fumes. They will make you sick. I opened the room, aired it out properly with fans, and there was nothing ever found. After my last bedroom treatment, I did the same thing to ensure nothing was living in there. They worked. My plan is to use these to fumigate the dressers as well. While they have been sprayed, I want to be sure anything that might be in there is DEAD. I'll enclose them in plastic and let them sit for a week. Will post update on those when they are done.

WORKS for bedbugs but be EXTRA CAREFUL!!
These saved me during a really dark time. My apartment got infested and I used these to "treat" both rooms and totes when I moved. I bought a bunch of large plastic totes and thick garbage bags to wrap all my belongings in... that's right, each tote had a giant black plastic bag INSIDE it encasing all my stuff. Inside each plastic bag (also inside a plastic tote), I put a half strip of these toxic suckers. I left each of my totes sealed up with these stripes for a year before I opened them back up. I had been dealing with bed bugs for several months at that point and DID NOT want to take any chances. I had a horrible allergic reaction to the bites which meant I had huge red welts all over my body. Not a fun time in my life. Anyway, when I finally opened up all my totes no bed bugs! They worked great, BUT be careful. I opened up each tote outside away from my house so the fumes could air out. For one tote, I didn't give it enough time and emptied it before I should have. I INHALED THOSE FUMES AND HAD TOXIC POISONING FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS. I got a huge headache, dealt with memory loss, brain fog, and extreme fatigue. I had to the lie down and stare at the wall for the rest of the day while my brain dealt with the toxins. SO BE CAREFUL!! I highly recommend these though....

Why Look Elsewhere?
Let me start this off by saying I don't normally write reviews. This is VERY deserving of a 5 star review though. These things are meant to be handle with extreme caution as they are pretty hazardous chemically but if handled and used as the instruction booklet explains, you'll be bug free. I need to enter my room multiple times a day so I was not able to leave the strips hanging for long. I left them for a full 24 hours and let the room air out overnight. Bites? Nope. Critters? Gone. Creep crawlers? Outta here. These strips helped with a bed bug problem I had. However, keep in mind that these do not attack the eggs. So look into the life cycle of the bug you're trying to get rid of and place the strips as I did. Use them for 24-72 hours, air the room out and wait out the time until the eggs of the crawlies are supposed to hatch and then use them again in the same fashion. Done! Sounds time consuming but you don't even need to organize beforehand! The vapor on these things will seep into any little hole they might be hiding. Remember to seal the room off too so none of the vapor escapes as it is said to be toxic to anything alive. Again, HANDLE WITH CAUTION and you will be bug free in no time!

Good if you need 12 at once.
With 12 in a package, we figured we'd be able to use 3 or 4 and have the rest for other years. The first year they worked well. The second year, not as good. Thought since they're individually sealed they'd hold up, but don't really seem to. So if you need all 12 at once go for it, otherwise pick a smaller pack

Works great!
These are strong. They kill all kinds of bugs including bed bugs. I put them on my outside door seals and no more critters are getting inside the house. I wouldn't recommend putting these inside your house because you will be inhaling the pesticide. If you have clothing or bedsheets with bed bugs if you put one of these in a large trash back, seal it up tight and place boxing or duct tape over the top opening all bed bugs will be dead in the bag within 3 days. Of course wash your clothes after that to get the pesticide smell out. They last about a good couple of months.
