will this scanner separate documents by using a blank separator page?

The 8170 software supports advanced features for handling blank pages during the scanning process. These features are typically referred to as "blank page removal" or "blank page separation." When enabled, the scanner's software can automatically detect and separate blank pages from the scanned documents. I only used the blank page removal not triggering a new file I would check the software version you have and possibly update in case that feature is missing Enjoy

If i buy one how do i tell if it is in grey market or has us warnety before i buy it.?
