I needed straws for a lesson aid to teach my students about insect proboscis. These worked brilliantly, and I didn't feel guilty buying them since they are non-plastic and biodegradable. Had a great craft cocktail in a bar recently and was served one of these straws. It was such a pleasure that I put it in my pocket and took it home. Used it several times before I decided to try to find them on Amazon, and viola! here they are. They can be used over several times with a quick wash, but ultimately disposable in a friendly, compostable way. Highly recommend. Feels better than plastic and holds up great.
