Used this cover to protect my digital screen on my solar box on my house. Now the monitor screen is protected from the sun.

These din breaker boxes make great project boxes for various around the house eletronics gagets. Din rail mounts are available for everything from RaspberryPi to esp devices.

Everything was fine but the knock outs were difficult to remove being over reinforcement ribs. A littke flimsy but its fine.

I am very cautious when using inexpensive electrical products with unknown brands. Listing, inspections, and liability are some of the significant issues that one should understand before purchasing and installing electrical gear.That said, I have some applications that are less critical and more tolerant of failure. One example is the use of DIN rail breakers as a disconnect in a lab setup in which low available fault current and appropriate upstream overcurrent protection mitigates the consequences of failure. Even then, using products like these is best done carefully as a deliberate test in a highly controlled situation.I will use this product and recommend it as a good value for specific noncritical uses. This particular panel currently serves as as power distribution and control in my networking lab. Individual breakers are used as disconnects for groups of routers and switches. I like the small form factor and clear cover. Practically speaking, this din box does work, but it is not super for anything beyond something with a 30A breaker because of the wiring space and the knockout spaces. Some of the knockouts are on top of ribs on the inside which need to be trimmed to use some of the knockouts. Also, knockout perforations are basically for show. You NEED to cut them with a hole saw or a slug buster. Also the din rail included is a little flimsy. Better choices are out there but it will work with some care and attention.

I created a small pond as a water feature in my back yard and needed to install an additional outlet nearby. I have a reasonable amount of DIY experience with electrical so I felt comfortable running the line out back with the appropriate outdoor rated conduit, GFCI outlet, etc. If you don’t feel comfortable working with electrical current, you should get an electrician to do it. The outlet is installed on the exterior wall of my garden shed and is the perfect setup to get the water pump and UV pond filter power. The electrical box was easy to mount and does look like it is waterproof. I’m pretty happy how this one works compared to other electrical weather boxes which were made of cheap plastic and were very brittle after a few years exposed to sunlight. Hopefully this one will age better than those other ones.

Sturdy outdoor distribution box. I ordered this to install a circuit breaker for our outdoor sauna. It's the perfect size and even looks pretty good as it is installed in a very visible location. It has a ton of options for installing it. For me it worked with the middle holes for an even look on a conduit pipe. Good value!

This is for the 8 way breaker box.I used breakers from Midnite Solar. The cover plate (not the cover itself) did not fit with those breakers. I trimmed some of the cover plate to make it fit and I can live with that. I then added a couple of DIN rail mounted relays and now the cover itself will not close. Not much I can do about that.The fitment of the breakers is my fault since the title of the posting says "MCB". Mini Circuit Breaker. Which the Midnite Solar breakers are not.I may try the 12 way box since it is deeper by .8 inches.This will be installed in my RV. I need a box that is small and doesn't weigh a ton.Update: I did buy the 12 way box. While it is .8" deeper, the DIN rail is mounted a good 1/2" higher, negating the .8". I trimmed the DIN rail mount down and my relay now fits with the cover closed.
