FORTEM Windshield Sun Shade - Sunshade for Car Windshield - 240T Polyester

FORTEM Car Sun Shade for Windshield, Reflective Windshield Sunshade, 240T Polyester, Automotive Interior Sun Protection, Ultimate Heat and UV Shield, Foldable, Storage Bag (Extra Large 70" x 35") (August 6, 2025) I have a 2006 Honda Pilot. I am happy with the way this fits in the windshield. It has made a big difference in the temperature when I get it in the afternoon. It helps keep my steering wheel from being burning hot, too, from the sun beating down on it. On days where it gets over 90*, it's still toasty in there, and the steering wheel is hot, but not too hot to touch. And the leather seat isn't too hot to sit on, either! That's a big deal!! This is easy to open and fold up again, with a little practice. It fits nicely in the bag that came with it. And I store it between the seat and the center console. You can see that it will hold itself in place of the rim of the shade is placed between the window and the frame. The pull-down sun visors help hold the top floppy bits in place. There isn't a cutout for the rearview mirror, but it goes around it easily, for the most part. It's not 100% sun proof, but it's good enough for the price of $8.49, which is what I paid. I would pay more for it. It's simple and does the trick. Highly recommend! Happy Shopping!

I have a small car and this shade is perfect. It's very flexible, thin, and lightweight so I don't have to wrestle with it. It fits around my rear view mirror easily so I don't have to reposition it every time I take the shade down! It's fairly easy to fold and put back into the carrying bag. I'm sure I'll get better at it the more I do it. It's helped keep my car significantly cooler in the Louisiana summer heat! It was very inexpensive - a great buy!

Fits in 2020 F150. It’s okay, a bit cumbersome, kind of a pain to get back into the case but not impossible. Does its job and my hands don’t burn on my steering wheel at the end of the day so I don’t hate it. Just wish it was a tiny bit simpler to put up/take down.

fits my large suv and does cool it little with 100 plus heat

Works well but doesn't always seem to fit and stay.

Very easy to use and put up in it's carrying case. It technically works and stated that it would fit my car perfectly, but unfortunately it's too big on width and too short on height. Not to mention the quality is lacking and it's not very thick (flimsy). I mostly use it on my van now, but unfortunately there are BIG gaps around the rearview mirror and about a 4 inch gap on the side. Finally, I should have just purchased one of those universal folding ones.

Wonderful Shade. Fits perfectly. I plan to buy 2 more ASAP!

EDIT: After only having for just over a month, and only slight usage, this has broken in several spots to where the wire is popping out of the fabric and I can no longer fold it to store it in the bag. I felt the thing snap multiple times in my hands as I was trying to fold it to fit in the bag and later found the wires protruding out in not just one spot, but in at least two spots. This makes it almost impossible to use. I cannot store it, as it will not fold. I cannot put it in the window correctly as it no longer keeps it's shape and will not stay in place. And I am afraid the wires are going to poke me or someone else in the eyes as they are now several inches out of the material. I really did like this, but this is a major deal breaker for me when it breaks within just over a month's usage and of course I cannot send it back as the return window closed about 3 days before it broke. The wires sticking out are sharp on the ends too. This works fairly well. Wanted it mainly because we have leather seats and they get extremely hot when the sun hits them and also noticed one of the seats is cracking from the sun hitting it. It does work to keep the vehicle cooler. There is a bit of an issue with it wanting to fall on the corners. I can tuck it in on the driver's side of the window, but the passenger side has a tighter space to fit into and it makes it fall. That is one issue with it. It does not fit around the mirror well. It folds fairly easily and goes into the bag easily. We bought the large size for our 2017 Acadia Limited and it is a bit large for the window, but not too large that I would go down to the smaller size. The smaller size would probably fit though.

this is by far the best one we had ever got! 3 years and it still looks AND works great!
