Does exactly what it supposed to
We looked at several of these before choosing this one for a docking station for laptops. Not a lot to say about this it does do exactly what itโs supposed to with several ports for plugging monitors and everything else in.

Works great with M1 chip
use this with Apple Macbook air M1 chip. once the drive was installed I am able to use the lap top monitor plus 2 additional monitors for productivity. Will need a digital display to HDMI plug adaptor if you are using a newer monitor

Returned this docking station as it was not what I expected and could not get my second screen to display.

I bought this to use with my MacBook Pro 15" ...
I bought this to use with my MacBook Pro 15" late 2016 - I know all my ports are USB-C but there aren't any docking stations that work to do what I want, which is drive more than one external display in extended mode - the Kensington SD4600P was so close but alas, just didn't work to drive 2 displays (and it's 200 dollars). So here is what you can do if you want to drive more than one display, get power, and have additional USB-A ports and do it all through one plug. Get ready.First, buy a usb-c AV adapter - I have the one with HDMI but I think the VGA one would work.Next get this thing (Accell USB 3.0 docking station)Get a USB 3.0 to USB-C cable.Optionally for a third screen, a DVI to DisplayPort, or HDMI to DisplayPort or VGA to Displayport adapter, or just a DisplayPort display.Plug the first monitor into your Apple AV adapterPlug the USB dock into the AV adapterPlug an HDMI display and a DisplayPort display into the Accell dock.Plug the USB 3 to USB C into the far right front USB port on the dock and into the USB-C port on the Apple AV adapter. Now you have a situation where you can plug in one cable into your MacBook Pro, have 3 external displays, as well as the internal display, and power the MacBook Pro. Now I don't know how much power is coming in given that the AV adapter steps it down a notch and the power from the USB port on the dock is a BC 1.2 charging port - which supposedly does some calculations to deliver the right amount of power to charge devices? No idea really but what I can say is that my machine is at 100% charge and not discharging in this setup. YMMV on this since it seems to be some conglomeration of Chinese parts but for now it is working for me, and there isn't something out there yet that can do all of this. It does seem technically possible to bundle this whole arrangement into one dock but I looked far and wide (google) and didn't find one.Edit: Ok spoke too soon on the power part. It doesn't give enough power to keep the MacBook Pro from discharging (though it doesn't seem to register that it is discharging, just says "Not Charging", but at 100% read "Charged"?) might work for the 13 inch, maybe for the 12 inch MacBook.

Works with Apple Airbook 2015
I was thrilled that this product works with Apple. I've tried other products to have 2 X 27" external displays, and there was an odd flickering lag on one screen. No problems with this product! Easy set-up and works well with the system.

Device Failure after a Year's Use
Mi Accell Model K172B-008B failed to put out a video signal after using it for just 1 1/2 year's use I bought my device at Costco who is no longer selling docking stations. It is substantially identical to the -002B model being sold here. Otherwise, It worked very well when It was working. I am not sure I want to replace it with one from the same company

Works Perfect With Apple M1
I use this with my Macbook Air M1 to add support for a second external monitor. It works great!

Not really 4K.
Have not been able to get this to run 4K into a TV, even using DP to HDMI or HDMI. Best you can do is 2048.
