Sterling Silver Very Tiny 1mm Ball Stud Earrings/Nose Studs for Women & Teens 1/32 inch

I was looking for 1mm earrings to use as nose studs - I bend them into an L shape and wear them that way. These ended up being a little too small for my liking. I think I prefer 1.5mm balls, as the 1mm ball is about the same size as the post itself. However, this is not the company's fault! :) I got exactly what was described, and in a very timely fashion. These studs are sturdy, and of a pretty good quality. If you are looking for 1mm balls -- buy these! But again, the reviews on the size being small, is correct -- It will likely go through your piercing.

I've been searching for this size nose stud everywhere! (Read: teeny tiny) I was used to ordering studs on-line that were listed as 'small' and being disappointed when they arrived. I took a chance on these based on the reviews - and am so glad I did!I would change a couple of things about the Amazon listing. The main picture with the backing is initially misleading if you're looking at it quickly - makes it look like an earring only. Also, you receive two nose studs in one purchase; that wasn't clear to me so I ended up buying three units, giving me six studs.

Terrible quality. I wore for 1 day and my skin was left green and discolored. DO NOT BUY.

This earring actually makes the best nose ring. I love it so much I had to write a review. I have order at least 5 of these. It is very tiny and fits perfectly. People don't even notice that my nose is pierced. I us pliers or a jewelry making tool to bend the end a bit to create an L shape nose ring. I am allergic to nickle and I have very sensitive skin, bu this ring has never caused me any problems. And you can't beat the cost.

I like tiny earrings for my second lobe piercing, so I went ahead and ordered these. However, they are extremely tiny. So small that others probably will not even notice them. I knew how small they were when I bought them, so I can't complain about that. I do think they are much better suited to be worn as a nose ring or third earring, if you have that many piercings.The problem I had with these is that the butterfly backs are difficult to remove. The backs are attached very tightly and it's hard to pull them off because there's really nothing to grip on such tiny ball studs. I could easily pull the entire stud through my ear just trying to take the backs off. What I ended up doing is swapping the backs with other butterfly backs that attach more loosely.It is difficult to find such tiny studs, so I'm glad that these are available. If you're buying them to use as a nose ring, it will probably work great. For a lobe piercing, I would skip these unless you have three or more piercings and really need the tiniest studs.

My update- 6 years later...still rare to find such a tiny piece. LOVE LOVE the size but unfortunately the material is not meant for me. Within weeks it tarnished and I just didn't feel right using it. Caused the skin around the piercing to become discolored. No buy again unless made from surgical steel or real gold.Absolutely what I was searching the entire web for!!! Can't believe it is so hard to find. Thanks so much.Discreet yet just the slightest of shine to prove its purpose! I would love if you can make it in gold as well....maybe even with the tiniest little stone in it if I dare had my wish.I would suggest that the post be bent just a tad before putting it through the piercing as well as suggesting it for a nose piercing preferably...that's what I'm using it as and wonderful at that it is.After u put it in bend it a little more if u can and adjust to the angle of piercing taking consideration to how it looks in the inner side of nose by tilting head upwards.The post is not to long if u bend it so it doesn't slip out easily.

I LOVE these earrings! I use them as a nose ring & just clip the end off w/wire cutters. My only complaint is they are easily lost, but thts the price you pay if you wana wear studs this tiny in your nose. I've gone through 2 pair in 2 years, but its worth it! They're perfect for me! I wish I cld find an actual nose ring this tiny! They also look super cute as earrings! I've used mine for both!

Honest Review: DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU HAVE A NEW PIERCING! I got this for my recent nose piercing. But in a matter of days, I noticed that a dark scar had formed around my nose piercing area. I took out the piercing (I had bent it in an LShaped form as advised) and viola, there was a dark tarnish around the jewelry. Details on the internet may be wrong but the majority confirmed that Sterling Silver is prone to causing scars and scarring. Hence, the dark spot on my nose/around thenpiercing. I really hope that I can fade it out. Truth be told, this jewelry has great potentials; tiny, dainty, gorgeous/easy on the eyes. However, I don’t encourage it for long term use or for new piercings or even for long term. My 2 cents! PS: I immediately put in a 14k gold nose stud so that the hole wouldn’t close.
