2 Pack - Rechargeable Flameless Plasma Beam Lighter - Electric - Plasma - Splashproof - Windproof

I don’t write product reviews as often as I should, but I had to for this purchase. You get 2 lighters for around $20, meaning one is about $10. This is the best lighter I have ever bought. I literally smile when I use it because it looks and sounds so cool. It’s solid, as heavy as you would expect it to be, having a very sturdy feel to it. I’ve charged it once a day since I got it but that’s because it’s new to me and I’ve been showing everyone, and playing with it because it’s just so pretty to watch burn. After I get used to it, the charge should last a few days. If you are thinking about getting it, go for it. Totally worth it in my opinion. UPDATE: It has been about 4 months now and it still works great! I really love this lighter. I don’t have to charge it every day now because I’m not playing around anymore, so the charge lasts a few days with normal use. I will absolutely be buying another when this one stops working. Also! It works for cigarettes but I wouldn’t try to use it for anything else. Fireworks = bad idea Same goes for anything else you might want to use a lighter for. Js.

The lighters are made entirely out of metal, and the weight of it in your hand gives a premium feel to it, When lighting a cigarette you might need to light it in halves, as the plasma didn't light it completely since the beam of plasma is straight and doesn't completely engulf the end of a cigarette like a flame would, however the overall premium feel of the product MORE than makes up for it! I haven't tested the splash resistance of the product, nor do I intend to do so willingly, I have however tested the wind resistance, and it isn't possible to blow out, so light your cigs, and your fireworks off without any issues! One thing to note is that if you keep the button to use the lighter held down for too long it will automatically stop/power off after 5-15 seconds if I recall correctly, so if you don't light something right or didn't light what you wanted to within that time you will have to try again with another press of the button. Recharging doesn't seem to take TOO much time, maybe 15-30 minutes, I am never around it waiting for a charge; you also can't use the lighter while it is charging... not to mention the blue light that glows while it is charging, but turns off when it is done... Speaking of blue lights... the light at the bottom of the lighter glows blue when you use it and blinks a few times when the battery is low? I'm not entirely sure, but it is something to note...

*update #3 11/24/2017* Ok I've had these lighters for a couple of weeks now and I'm in love. The work exactly as advertised, they charge quickly and last a good amount of time so I would highly recommend them. That being said I have upgraded to a version with a cross arc pattern from the same seller/manufacturer and it's even better! The 2nd lighter seems to be holding it's charge fine so far so it was probably a defective battery in the other one which happens from time to time with anything. The lighter itself works great. It lights things pretty much instantly, I even used it to start a fire in my fireplace and it was waaaaaay quicker than using a match of traditional lighter. These things really are pretty cool and best of all they work. I'm happy to not have to deal with lighter fluid, Flint's, butane etc anymore and unlike other windproof lighters this one actually is. Just make sure you keep the 2 ends clean which is simple, just a soft wipe with a paper towel will do or a soft brush. They only get dirty if you make repeated direct contact with whatever you are lighting BUT it generates enough heat that direct contact isn't necessary.

Overall the lighter works well, and seems to last for a while. I’ve been moving towards Rechargeable with everything I own, so this seemed to be a no brainer. I love that all I need is some power. I’ve used it skiing on windy chairlifts with success, however “windproof” is a bit of a stretch. In relatively low winds the “arc” of electric current sometimes blows onto the metal surrounding the top of the lighter itself. This would be a problem in high winds for sure. With that said this lighter will still work when wet, and in lower velocity winds as long as you block the wind with your hand or body. Very cool item, and for the price the pros outweigh the cons for me.

Great lighter!! Will elaborate later . Whoops, reviewed too soon. Using the 2nd lighter now as the first one stopped working and would not recharge. Not such a great product when it's $20.00 for one lighter. Update: The company reached out to me and sent me two more lighters at no additional charge. The first one lasted for a few days and then needed to recharge. I again got no spark after I charged it. I was ready to throw this one away and let my review stand when I decided to use my Amazon Fire charger on it as the outlets appeared to be the same. When I hooked it up a blue light lit up... Wow! I hadn't seen that light before. Amazingly the lighter took the charge and I was back in business. So... The lighters work but the chargers they send with them do not. I raised the star rating to 3.

I like that this product is rechargable, windproof, and waterproof. The packaging is beautiful, the design is elegant, and the product works. My mom will be using this to light her cigarettes, so we'll spend a lot less on prices of gas lighters. The only thing I disliked about the product would be the fact it came in a box much bigger than necessary, but even then I appreciate it. They care about the customer's opinion and the quality of their product.
