I’m extremely impressed with the DJI RS 5 Combo Gimbal Stabilizer! This rig has completely transformed my video work — the stabilization is smooth and rock-steady, even during movement and walking shots. Setup is straightforward, and the build quality feels very solid yet not too heavy. The combo includes everything I need to balance and start shooting quickly, and the ergonomic design makes long filming sessions comfortable. I also love the advanced features like smart tracking and customizable controls — they add so much creative flexibility and make capturing pro-level footage much easier, whether I’m shooting weddings, events, or cinematic B-roll. Overall, this gimbal is a huge upgrade from handheld shooting. It’s powerful, reliable, and truly worth the investment for anyone serious about video.

Having owned a few dji gimbals, this is their best iteration yet. The knobs are a game changer to an already stellar system. The one finger easy open tripod? Another fantastic quality of life update. The z axis notification is good in theory but in practice doesn't do anything. It's also tough to see while walking/framing your shot. It also now fully supports panasonic cameras via bluetooth and that just makes things so much simpler as a heavy/daily user of this gimbal. However, note that if you're coming from the RS3/RS4, don't reuse the same base plate even though it does fit. Switch it out for the new included mount. I still had the mounting plate on the camera from the RS4 and it was causing the camera to tilt forward slightly. I swapped it out thinking it wasn't going to solve my issue but it did.

Love the gimbal itself! Overall great product with no issues! Love the auto lock and the z axis support on the screen. The follow with the AI tracker is great too and handy. The AI follow tracker could use some work but that’s a dji software update, one day. Upgraded from the mini 4 pro. Also, great battery life.

No, after stabilizing it, I didn’t feel it stayed stable. I felt the camera would move in any direction while walking. I tried multiple times, hoping it would be better than my previous RS2. However, I was not impressed. It definitely needs to be more stable!

Actually is a noticable slight upgrade from the RS3 and RS4. I wouldn't go out of the way to get this if you have those already, but for someone who does a large volume of work on Gimbals because of what I shoot, the small changes are very appreciated. Build wise, it's got the same build and feel as the RS4 and RS3, but those extra adjustment knobs for the two extra axis are amazingly useful. It made balancing the 5 a LOT faster than the 4 and 3. Also something nice is all the parts are stealthier black now, which aesthetically I appreciate. So things like the lock down knobs are black instead of silver. The gimbal tripod feet is incredible, and something I appreciate. When you lift one side, all of them open. I had replaced all of my other gimbal feet with the Falcam Treeroot before hand because the falcam did this, but it's nice to have a DJI branded one. So just a heads up, the basic kit DOES NOT come with the tracking module, but you can use the RS4 Mini's module on this. Battery life is consistent with the RS4, and all the accessories from the RS4 and RS3 work also. Very easy to setup if you are comfortable with gimbals.

Bra produkt men jag har svårt att balansera rätt. Jag har suttit många timmar, följt youtube tutorials men får det aldrig så "perfekt" som man vill ha det, kan dock bero på att mitt objektiv är 24-70mm zoom. Men funkar ändå bra och gör sitt jobb. Extremt skönt att den låser axlarna och man inte behöver balansera om gång efter gång.

Super, ich hatte den RS3 schon, der qualitativ hochwertig war, dieser hat durch das Tracking nochmals ein ganz anderes level. Allein das einstellen mit dem schrauben macht das ausbalancieren soo einfacher

LUMIX S5を乗せて使っています。これを買う前に、Feiyutech Scorp-Cを買ったのですが、開封初日から不具合が発生し全く機能せず、絶望していた分、RONINが優秀すぎて、本当に感動しております。調整もしやすい、作りもしっかりしている、そして何より、個人的にポイントが高いのが、アプリからの遠隔操作が完璧で、私の場合、1700席収容会場のステージ上に設置し、会場１F最後方から遠隔操作ができた時は、本当に感動しました。なお、２会席最後方からの操作もできたので、私の用途を全て叶えてくれています。この製品は、本当に素晴らしいとしか言いようがありません。

Ja, da hat sich Einiges getan seit des alten DJI Ronin Gimbals. Inzwischen sind wir bei der 4. Generation gelandet und es hat sich viel getan seit den ersten Modellen. Zwischen v2 und v3 war ein recht großer Sprung, der zu v4 nur noch verfeinert wurde und nun Hochkant-Aufnahmen anbietet. Da ich nicht zur TikTok-Generation Handy gehöre und Videos für Breitbild-TVs fertige, kann ich diesem wichtigsten Upgrade der v4 nichts abgewinnen. Auch aufgrund des sinkenden Preisniveaus ist die v3 das Ding meiner Wahl. Die beiden neueren Versionen haben gegenüber der v2 das größere Display mit mehr Funktionen und vor Allem die absolut nützliche Selbstverriegelung des Gimbals. Wer häufiger mit einem Gimbal dreht, wird es lieben. Auch die 3 kg Nutzlast und die dadurch resultierenden starken Motoren sprechen für den DJI RS3. Er ist noch handlich genug im Vergleich zum Profimodell DJI RS3 Pro und hat mehr zu bieten als das neue Einstiegsmodell DJI RS3 Mini. Dieses bietet "nur" 2,5 kg Nutzlast, was für die meisten Cams aber ausreicht. Es hat aber nicht die Auto-Verriegelung und man kann auch keine Akkugriffe austauschen. Im Zusammenspiel mit meiner Sony Alpha 7 IV und dem Sony SEL24-105 ist das DJI RS3 das perfekte Gimbal.
