They arrived today and I started to swap my toiletries from my old travel case type bag to this barrel type one. I was able to get everything in it, but the bag could NOT be closed. The height given is 9.84 inches, but that's from the bottom edge of the round base to the top of the opening. Guess what? You lose about 2 to 3 inches when you pull the drawstring tight. With everything "just" fitting into the bag, there was NO extra play to draw the top edge together to close it. The useful height is actually only about 6 or 7 inches. This bag wasn't going to fit our needs. So I am returning both of them, as my wife has even taller stuff (shampoo and conditioner bottles, etc.).
