Great specimens!
As soon as they arrived, I placed in a glass of water, and then placed a bag over the glass for a little humidity, as my house in the winter can be very dry. I made sure that the bag did not rest on any portion of the stems. I placed in a window that gets direct sunlight. I would refresh the water every few days by draining out 2/3 of the water and adding fresh water back. Once a day i would remove bag and mist the stems and the inside of the bag to help create more humidity, again taking care that no portion of the bag touched the stems once replaced. After only a few days (maybe 10 days) it's ready to pot. Being winter, im going to finish these inside until spring, at which time they will be moved outdoors, as this is an outside tree and will need the season cycles to stay healthy. All three syems they sent (1 thick, 2 thin) are very healthy and produced roots and leaves very soon.Im very excited to see how these turn out in a few years time. Ill try to come back and pay updates.

Bad product
Please be advised what they actually send you are 5in. twigs in length that you would have to place in a cup of water to allow the roots to grow for 4 weeks, then you would have to place them in your own pot and soil to allow the bonsai to start the growth process. So, be aware of what they’re actually sending you. I received the product under questionable quality, but I was adamant that my green thumb abilities would overcome this initial set back, but to no avail, I was not successful. After I requested a refund and provided this picture of my bonsai they got clever and gave me some cheap excuse as to why I couldn’t qualify. Apparently, the claim was they gave me two additional bonsai twigs as a “gift” and that the third one which I presumed to be a 3in. in diameter petrified stump was the actual product. I presumed this was rubber banded with the two smaller twigs to protect them from bending or breaking, because the product came in a thin bubble wrapped envelope. I couldn’t provide a picture of that particular piece, because I had discarded it earlier. The instructions for the product explained how to care for two twigs, so naturally, I assumed I was caring for the correct pieces and not for the 3rd in. Diameter stump. Not only did they deny me a refund, they were “generous” enough to offer me a 10% discount for my next purchase. What a joke.

Thriving, beautiful little trees!
I received sticks wrapped in moist paper towels like everybody else. One fat, 3 small. I gave 2 away once they were stable in a pot. They rooted in water incredibly fast, and it was very satisfying seeing them through the jars. The picture of the two I kept was ONLY 3 months from the day I received them. They haven't grown much in the subsequent 3 months due to the excessive heat in Texas this year. 107°F for what seemed like forever.Today I finally trimmed and shaped the small one after watching videos on YouTube. Mostly from 'Herons Bonsai', check him out! I'm very satisfied with the current appearance after chopping it back. Looking forward to how much I can manipulate the shape and thickness of the branches.Zone 8 Texas10/10

Is this tree cutting a live plant with bare root or no roots?
I was very disappointed with the "tree" I received in the package. The product detail states that this is a "Live Dwarf Australian Weeping Willow Bonsai Tree" and the description states: This is a cutting and Ships Bare Root, No Soil or Pot Included, All Natural High Quality Potting Soil like Fox Farms Ocean Forest or CZ Grain Bonsai Soil is recommended. My take is that the description states bare root. There was no root(s) on the cuttings. We had to place the cuttings in rooting hormones. Based on the Bare-root Definition & Meaning by Merriam-Webster:The meaning of BARE-ROOT is having roots cleared of soil in preparation for transplanting. Based on that definition, I see no root(s) so the cuttings cannot be bare-root. This is very misleading but with rooting hormone, the cuttings will grow. This is a longer process because it is a cutting and not bare root. At first, I gave it 2 stars but after doing my process, the cutting began growing roots and stems with leaves. I have changed my rating to 4 stars.

Time to Plant in a pot w/soil!
They arrived as healthy looking wood sticks...one with a near inch width and several sized down wood sticks....within days of going into water jars and sitting at a well day light window they hav/ie sprouted many roots and green stems with healthy looking leaves. These have done so well I've ordered a second set of them...& rec'd one wide large stick and "4" thinner sticks! Hopefully, several will make it to be some holiday gifts this year!

Fantastic no-root’ cuttings! All survived and are growing well and thriving. Beautiful results.
I received 4 ‘no-root’ Australian Willow cuttings on 1/25/23: three ~ 6” tall, 1” in diameter + one much larger, ~ 2” in diameter. Initially dubious, I nevertheless followed the detailed and informative instructions plus I purchased the suggested soil. Amazingly, the bare cuttings sprouted roots in 3 days and leaf buds began to emerge in 4. Only 21 days after receiving the cuttings, full leaves and the beginnings of tiny branches have already grown. In soil now, they are healthy and grow larger every day. Planted in bonsai containers, they’ll fill out beautifully while remaining root-constrained small, as planned. I’m beyond pleased. Bonus: The plant stock was vigorous enough to survive overnight in 20° weather (UPS drop off) and yet still thrive. Follow the seller’s instructions, buy the specified soil, and enjoy the wonderful results.

Seeds .
Have to grow from seed. Be better if it came already grown . I have a fantastic green thumb . As the old saying goes . But honestly, I could not get to even root the seed . Very disappointed.
