CRAFTSMAN Tool Box, Lockable, 13 in., Red/Black (CMST13004)

Great for a little keep in the house type of toolbox for when you need a screw driver or pliers or wrenches and such. I you want to store a hammer in it, it needs to be 12 inches or less. Seems well made enough for casual in the home use. Small size and light weight.

This little simply made plastic tool box is as cheap as they can get yet can carry a weight it clearly wasn't designed for. It's scary to use at first because it feels so flimsy, yet I fill it up with drill press accessories and carry it around without fail. The load handling capabilities of handle and clasp is what worried me at first but they haven't failed me yet.

Works for me. Holds my tools. Not really a big toolbox for major tools but it does the job with screwdrivers, parts and so on..it's a strong plastic box.

Bought this to give me a single place to keep all the bits, collets and small clamps for my hobby CNC Router. Perfect size. Built well enough. Light weight. Perfect for my needs.

I just received this, so I can't give much feedback, but the padlock eye is very small. I had a small padlock I was going to use, but it won't fit. The space is about 3/8" wide. I also noticed this from the description. It does not have a metal latch. There's no metal at all. I will add a star if they change the description: SECURITY: Front metal latch for added security

I purchased the CRAFTSMAN Tool Box, drawn in by the trusted brand name, but I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed. First off, the construction feels incredibly flimsy. I wouldn't recommend this box for anyone who needs a reliable tool storage solution for daily or even weekly use. The quality doesn’t live up to what I expected from CRAFTSMAN. Additionally, the latch that is supposed to keep the box securely shut has been a constant issue. It doesn’t close properly, which is frustrating, especially if you’re trying to transport your tools. Overall, I’m very disappointed with this purchase. I expected much more from a brand like CRAFTSMAN, and this toolbox isn’t worth the money. Save your time and invest in something sturdier!

Used it for my extra ratchet straps to keep aboard my trailer, works perfect, great quality, would buy again.

Gift for 13 year old boy who found it useful. Parents were not so happy with it when the 13 year old used it to take apart the computer!
