I would use a shallow small bowl with straight sides. fill it just to the birds shoulders or lower and gently put the water over his feathers using a cup or your hand.

To my previous answer Luis I had a large bottle (32oz) of water daily for bath time during the week for my African Grey and a (16oz) with one drop of the soap in water for his weekly bath. No, the product you can spray right on and leave on is Pluck no More by Kings. I have used another spray that I like better and is less expensive than Kings, called Miracle Feather Care for birds, Feather Glo Bird Bath Spray. It is premixed and though it says to use daily, once a week is good.
