NOT FIBER
This worked fine to link my omada router and switch but I was under the impression that this was a fiber optic cable with 2 built in sfp connectors. I was wanting it to isolate equipment from surges from lightning which I don't believe this will do as it uses conductive wiring. I purchased 2 sfp to fiber modules and linked with fiber and set this aside for a spare.

Affordable problem solver.
Use these when you can. 10 gig flow connecting two switches is generally the use case. This is affordable, feels like a quality build, and is long enough so your devices aren't stacked onto each other just for this, although many sizes are available. Three feet was perfect for me. Since it's copper instead of fiber, you don't have to worry about tight radius turns in the wire. Since this is kind of a standard part, it doesn't pledge allegiance to any brands, no need to play match the part. Easy to plug and unplug but doesn't loosely fall out of ports. A good snug fit with little effort.

Cost effective and just works. I'm daisy chaining a switch to supply outdoor POE cameras and wanted to isolate it from the rest of the network in case of a lightning strike.

Works well!
This cable worked perfectly for my purposes of connecting two pieces of UniFi equipment (UDM-PRO and UNVR) together. I did have to set the port on the UNVR to 1 Gpbs manually (to match the UDM-PRO; the UNVR could do 10), which I learned from reading other reviews first (thanks!).
