Know this is a good product but again I have not been able to find where parcel or parcels no idea wherecdriver has cleftvit

I thought this would be great, but in my hanging baskets I ended up with unsightly lumps of jelly raising to the top, and the plants no better off ,they actually dried out, as the absorbed water stayed in the inside the strong pellets . babs x

Bought this especially for my tomato plants, as the peat free composts don’t seem to hold the water like the old peat composts, but when I went to use it, noticed on back of pack in small print that it is for ornamentals only. Not made clear in product listing.

Compost retains moisture after watering so there's no doubt that this stuff works. It's the texture that I'm not keen on. The granules swell up many times their size leaving a gelatinous mush in the soil. Not for me.

Cannot 100% say if this works or not! I have used as I was concerned I may not get to water my new potted plants as regularly as I would like. However, it has been a wet summer, all my plants did well.

Ordered this product for the summer whist I was away from home for a few weeks. I am a bit unsure about the product, was quite sceptical at first. I expected the small clear balls but this is like a dust which when placed in water looks like crushed water retaining clear balls. I placed a layer of the product on top of my plant pots and have to say that even after 3 weeks the gel looking product was still pretty wet. However, my plants were quite unwell some of them looked overwatered, others looked very dry despite the gell on top of the pot being moist. Now that the gel has been in the pots for some time, i have reduced the watering frequency but in some of my plant pots the gel quantity seems to be decreasing. Really not sure about this product
