Exactly what I needed!
I use the bracket for trolling motor to allow adequate space from back seat of my jon boat. Works great!.

Well made outboard bracket.
Does the job it it was designed for. Just make sure the boats stern can handle the weight if using it for a higher horsepower engine. It is rated up to 15 hp but I am personally not using it for more than 3 hp. Some small sailboat sterns are fairly lightweight construction.

Worthless.
I can sum this up fast, this is junk and flimsy. Sent it back and went to a welder who welded up a very strong high quality for less than this price AND it was pitched so my transom would hold the motor straight up. Panther suggested that I have a welder make a shim... Ummm if I go to a welder I will have him make the whole thing-

MAX MOTOR WEIGHT
The add does not specify the max weight the mount can handle. Max weight is 85lbs.
