Jensen JRV9000R Touchscreen Multimedia Navigation System, Electronic AM/FM Tuner with RBDS, DVD/CD/MP3/WMA Playback, Built-in Bluetooth with External Microphone, Built-in GPS Navigation and Mapping

I have a Thor ACE and needed a replacement for the jrv212T in it that died. This radio is better quality. It is the only one that will allow me to see all three cameras and drive with the back up camera on. You can buy switches for the cameras but backup camera only works in reverse. The factory setting is dim, but can be adjusted under settings and is fine once done. The gps antenna works well on the front dash. Installation was easy with th wiring harness purchased separtely. Everything needed was included and it took about an hour. It doesn't let you put in your vehicle's dimensions, but does let you choose between car, bus, and truck to ensure you're not routed in inappropriae areas for your vehicle. It works well with the cameras but per Jensen, may not work well with other brands. This is a very good replacement.

I was a little reluctant to order this unit, given some of the other reviews I saw about a dim screen.... However, I took the plunge when my Jensen JRV215N finally bit the dust (which is also common). The JRV9000R is great. The screen is bright (even set for "dark" in the setup), and the touch-screen is true and responsive (my JRV215N was hit or miss on recognizing my touch). The extra features are really nice as well - the Bluetooth is clean and clear (way better than fiddling with my Plantronics ear-piece), and the GPS works great. Another nice feature is the "loudness" setting on the audio, as well as the built-in equalizer. The sound produced is superior to the original JRV215N). It was easy to wire-up, as the 12 or 15 wires you need to splice are the same color-code as the JRV215R; literally took me 30 mins to install and hook-up. The only explanation I have for my friends who say the screen on theirs is dim, is that Jensen modified later versions of the unit from last year. This unit rocks..

Purchased this to replace a unit in my motor home. It was easy to install and sounds better then the original. The touch screen is easy to navigate through the channels and it works great with my three cameras. The blue tooth was a great addition and was easy to connect to my iPhone. The product arrived on time and was as expected. It came with all the pieces to make installation very easy. I will definitely order from this seller again in the future if necessary.

GPS is not set up to enter size of motorhome. Even though it listed as RV. Rear view camera must be turned every time to view rear traffic. Then you must turn off camera to adjust Radio, or anything else then turn it camera back on.

My '06 Ram Megacab had and OEM Infinity system that died... When seeking a replacement, I chose a brand I have used and trusted for many years, and this deck did not disappoint! Colors are bright, light touch works, and the interface is very intuitive. Installation was no biggie...GREAT buy, soo happy!! Feeds the Infinity speakers with high quality, pure, well-detailed sound... Sound boost would blow you out of the truck!!

It has got a lot more functions than the jrv212t that was replaces. Among them, I like the Bluetooth function the best. It is connecting fast and reliable. The sound system seems better than the model it had replaced. One thing that is quite annoying is that the screen brightness resets to “night” every time we start the engine. I think some reviewers complaint about the dim screen is because of the default setting is set to “night”. Scroll menu to find the screen brightness setup is very troublesome. The screen is actually brighter than the jrv212 when it is in “normal” mode. Is there a firmware update to address the default brightness setting?

The JRV9000 is REALLY hard to see the screen in daylight hours, no matter how much I adjust the brightness/contrast/hue. It's just not bright enough from the driver's seat, and the camera views are incredibly hard to see anything discernible when changing lanes. The JRV212 I replaced had it's faults, but at least I could see it okay in the daylight. It also doesn't switch to the rear camera automatically anymore when I put the RV into reverse like the old JRV212 did - I have to do it manually. The GPS is decent, but again, it's hard to see. I also don't like the fact that I cannot put the voice commands of the GPS faded to the front speakers only - there's no option for it like with the radio/iphone/DVD, etc... It blasts the family out while watching TV in the back bedroom. The Bluetooth sounds like a great idea, but pretty much worthless in an RV due to the road noise. I can't use it while driving. Overall, the JRV9000 is really overpriced for what you get, and I would definitely not buy again.

I love this radio, but was having trouble updating the navigation maps. You have to update quickly to get the latest map guarantee. What I found out is that if you try to use a USB microSD converter that plugs into your computer, it may not work. I tried 2 different USB readers, and my computer wanted to format the disk. I have an SD slot on my laptop, and bingo! When I put the microSD into the SD converter/reader, it worked like a charm. The main reason that I upgraded was so that I could keep the maps up to date. I hope this helps someone else.

Grace à la filerie d'interconnection vendue séparément le travail fut exécuté en 2h Le fonctionnement du GPS est assez simple ainsi que les autres systèmes intégrés Par contre l'antenne du GPS n'est pas intégrée à l'appareil ce qui occasionne de la filerie additionnelle La sortie HDMI remplace la sortie à multipines ce qui complique la pièce de transition Dans son ensemble je suis entièrement satisfait
