Review: Big Quality for Big Feet - I hardly notice them, and they are both comfortable and breathable. They weren't very expensive for the price and are very durable. I wear a size 15 wide, weigh over 300lbs, and work in a yard all day, then work out afterward, and these socks hold up. I would recommend them to any bigger guy. Review: Not NO SHOW socks! - I bought these because of the price and a trusted brand for durable wears. The socks seem pretty comfortable and would probably be good if you are on your feet for a long time moving around. The moisture wicking also peaked my interest because I live in Florida. In my mind I picture Dickies as the go to brand for clothes for people that actually do work for a living. Not sitting in a chair in an office. These would 💯 fit that need. Now, the ad says "No Show". These wouldn't fall in that category at all. Low cut is questionable. I'd say ankle socks. Good for a Dickies non slip work shoe. I was actually looking for no show/low cut socks so I'll be returning as it's not what I needed. I'll still give them 5 star because they are nice just misrepresented imo.

I like Thick Socks and I Cannot Lie.
I’ve had several dozen pairs of these socks over the years and I love them. They are on the thicker side and are very durable. I wear them regularly during the summer when I cut grass and do yardwork. They hold up to that very well. I’ve never had a pair develop a hole or fray. That’s good enough for me. I will definitely buy these again.

My grandson likes his new socks. Light weight, soft, durable and comfortable. They wash and dry and maintain the form well.

Thick and comfortable
I love these socks. They’re thick and comfortable. They feel so much better than the thin low socks I usually buy.

Engineering in socks?
2025-06-07. No Show Socks by Dickies. Dri-Tech. Qty: 6-pairs Color: multi Size: Medium (shoe size: 5-9) It's funny, when I was younger, every Christmas we'd always get underwear and socks as part of our gifts; and we hated it! Which kid wants underwear and socks?! Where are the TOYS? Well I can tell you that once you done with school, on your own and paying your own way, I don't mind underwear and socks (so long as I get to pick which ones) for gifts from my parents anymore because THEY'RE EXPENSIVE! With Father's Day just around the corner, I picked these up for my Dad. He's a shoe size 9.5, but I know he prefers the medium size over the large because this is what he usually orders. These socks by Dickies are a tri-blend of materials and they consist of 68% Polyester, 31% Cotton, 1% Spandex. My Dad has always preferred tri-blends as each material adds unique characteristics. The cotton provides comfort, the polyester add an element of durability, and the spandex allow for elasticity. Compression. These socks by Dickies have a compression band that wraps around the arch of your foot, providing more support and a more comfortable fit. Growing up, my Dad made sure our athletic socks had compression and it wasn't until I tried socks without compression (starving students buy what they can afford) that I realized how significant it was. Such a small detail, yet such a big impact. The compression also helps prevent the sock from slipping and bunching up along other parts of your foot. Going with the slightly smaller size also helps to increase the amount of compression. Full cushion soles. These socks have extra padding on the soles of the feet adding comfort. The tops are thinner to allow for better breathability. Reinforced heel and toe. The heels and toes are usually the first to go on socks. This is because they're usually poorly fit. Toe nails can cause tears to socks, but for the heel, it's usually due to friction from a poor fitting shoe. To compensate, many manufacturers reinforce the heel and toe. But that's like putting lipstick on a pig; it's an interim solution to accommodate a problem, but doesn't address the problem itself. With a properly fitting shoe, socks will be done when you get holes on the soles. Still the reinforced toe and heel adds more padding which people usually translate to more comfort. Note: Like shoes, size is important. While the primary concern with shoes is the width, with socks, many have issue with the length. Size medium is recommended for shoe sizes 6-9, if you're larger than a 10-shoe, you'll probably want to go with the large. If you find that the sock bunches up, or the heel rides up, then go down a size for better fit. Dri-tech. This is Dickies proprietary name for moisture wicking control. Cotton and polyester do provide insulation in addition to their physical properties noted above. And with insulation, feet can warm up or even sweat. My guess is that the Dri-Tech technology is with how the polyester and cotton fibers are woven. Polyester is essentially plastic, so it's naturally waterproof. Cotton is absorbent, so can naturally transfer moisture. Combined, the polyester can help channel any moisture into the cotton fibers, and based on how they're woven, the cotton will transfer the moisture to the surface where it can evaporate. Evaporation is what gives you that cooling feeling (that's why we sweat, to cool off through evaporation!) This is the basis of all moisture-wicking items of clothing (textiles), and the reason for the higher polyester content than cotton. Note: If you don't want the Dri-Tech moisture wicking technology, the cotton, polyester, spandex blend will be different, and will be more like 70/25/5 (cotton, polyester, spandex.) Don't ever buy socks with high polyester blend without moisture wicking technology. These socks will just thin and way less comfortable. Overall, I can see why my Dad prefers these socks to others out there. I Didn't realize just how much Engineering was put into socks, but now have a better appreciation for such a product. If you're gifting them like I am, then you should note that these do not come in a box. They're your standard retail packaging where they're affixed to a piece of cardboard at the top only, so they're be flimsy and you may want to get a box for them for easier wrapping. These socks are primarily a dark heather grey in color and the tips and trims come in multi-color, but there are other color combination or solids to choose from. Best of all, these are nicely priced at about $2.50/pair. Currently (at the time of this posting), they're on sale for 39% off making them about $1.63/pair and a fantastic value!

Runs small but a quality product
Runs VERY small - I bought a large and have a size 10 foot; they're too tight to stay in place on my heel. There's no way they would comfortably fit a larger size. All in all, they're too short in length and do not stretch enough for a size 10 or above.

Very comfortable!
The socks are great quality and fit perfectly. I’m used to wearing standard size socks, so as someone with size 13 feet these are amazing. They stay in place properly and aren’t to thin. I wouldn’t consider them a warm sock, although they aren’t designed for warmth.
