This screen worked perfectly! This isn’t a task for those unfamiliar with electronics and ribbon cables, but the instructions were perfect. I would recommend this to someone who is comfortable breaking down electronics, but if in doubt take your phone to a professional. As for shipping, Amazon needs to get with the Prime promises and let customers know well before the day of delivery that it’s not going to be on time. Past 3 cell phone part orders, VERY LATE. Don’t order if you are counting on it being on time.

Apparently there is more than one one type of screen replacement kit. I originally bought a kit that was just the screen; I needed one that actually would connect to the workings of the phone! This was the kit I ordered once I knew what I wanted/needed. All is fine. My son did the actual replacement. It worked so well he wanted me to give the phone to HIM! Looks as good as new—nice shiny glass cover and works perfectly. I’m keeping it for ME!

The screen came well packaged and with tools necessary to replace the old one. It took about 30 mins to replace using directions online. Screen functioned perfectly. Then two days later the glass part of the screen assembly pulled apart from the frame portion that snaps into the phone. Now there is no way to get this broken screen assembly out of the phone because you have to rely on the glue that holds the glass to the frame to hold as you pull the screen and frame out of the phone using a suction cup during replacement. The phone that worked perfectly fine is now garbage. This seller just cost me a couple hundred dollars to replace the phone due to cheap manufacturing of this product. Not happy…

So I got this screen in March 2018 with a pressed area (small inked section that can be seen only on dark screens) but that wasn't a issue at all to me. Its now October 2018 and the right edge and parts of the left edge of the screen is now not functioning. the middle is fine for now tho. but either way I have to replace this now because operating my phone has become a challenge cause I have to rotate the screen to press "p" or "delete" and in apps that I can't rotate in, I have to do without it. So idk I didnt get my phone wet or anything, Its always in a case and all, so idk, I don't want to start a trend of changing your screen every 6 months but i still have to replace it, don't I?

The touch screen is working, LCD has a large pressure mark on top. I just needed something to keep my old phone alive for a few more months. When installed had a really large pressure mark on top, right where the clock is, darker colors seem to work fine but in anything light/white colors the spot is very noticeable. The packaging was very solid so I think it comes defective from manufacturer. I know the product is for a very old device but i expected a bit better for $21+.

This screen works great after install. Even though it’s just not an easy pop off and pop in the new one I think it’s totally worth the money given that a fix in the store is going to land you a minimum of a $100 bill.

i tried fixing other phones with the tools given and it did not work. for some reason the screws given here work for the iPhone 6 plus so i was able to successfully replace the screen on my own.
