The lights are adjustable for how bright you want them and can be on permanent or on motion detection. I have them located at the top of stairs and at the base, both actually illuminating the treads so on dark days the stair treads are shown ahead of you whether going up or down. They work really well and are useful for my elderly dog when she wanders at night when she is checking to reassure herself that we are where she expects to see us, then she settles and sleeps through, it's her little ritual every night. I am going to purchase more of these for places like the loft or workshop that has electrics installed but you often fumble for switches, so with these they would illuminate where the lights are if adjacent to switch points. RECOMMENDED, good quality and easy to set up.

They use a socket, i like the options for brightness and colour temperature of the light, they are bright however, i could personally have done with a bit more light, though for most applications in the dark they will be plenty bright enough. They have a PIR detector for people and dogs/cats as mine detects these. though i really would have liked a little more range/sensitivity. i use mine in a hallway that links two halves of my home, that is dark and i have to replace dawn/disk lamps when they wear out a few times now since owning my home. Over all i am happy with the lamp, they only come on when dark and triggered and i love the features though i have mine on mid warm/cold light colour. I would buy these again and recommend them. I have not had them for long yet, so cannot say how long they will last.

There are 2 lights, each with 3 settings (auto/off/on) along with a brightness setting. l use 1 in the lounge and the other in our bedroom. I absolutely love sensor lights because they are so convenient in that you don't have to turn a light on or off when you enter a room and these lights are on the sensor setting (auto). This is once you’re in the sensor activation zone of course. The lights work very well in our bedroom which gives us some light whilst we sleep so that our room is not in total darkness. Being able to adjust the level of brightness is also an advantage for us so that the level of light they emit is just right. We love them and would highly recommend them!

This is a great set (2) of night lights. Arrived quickly in neat packaging. Plug and play - lights are already set to auto mode. Light activates when it senses motion (and only when room is dark - does not turn on during the day.) Motion sensor sensitive enough to pick up your movement as soon as you walk into the room. Light switches off after 30 seconds. Warm white light with ability to adjust brightness. Works great outside my bathroom door, which saves me turning on the main lights when I walk through in the middle of the night. A great product overall. Would definitely recommend.

These lights plug into electric and after having them for over a year they’ve worked constantly. Give a fair light enough to make a cuppa Highly recommend for a bedroom or hallway or a making a cuppa.

One of the better night lights available a nice sleek design and with 5 levels of brightness from a low glow to a good steady light the sensor is responsive to movement and has a good lag time at the end of the movement one criticism is the scope of the PIR which appears to be an unnecessarily tight beam so that you have to be circumspect where you site them so that they have a good range without hindrance but with two lights in the pack they are very good value for the money and a nice stylish addition with a useful function

They work perfectly fine but I found they didn’t give off enough light for purpose my ring doorbell plug gives a lot more light.
