I suggest that the dimensions for the height be changed from 6.5" to 6". My Nikon Prostaff 7s 8X42 roof prism binoculars measures exactly 6.5" tall and the velcro misses by over 1", so would fit binoculars that are maximum 6" tall.Otherwise it is a snug fit and is as described, except that it is NOT a "Universal 42mm Roof Prism Binoculars Case".

They are hard to get adjusted to see a whole view. This may be because of my glasses; a little better without the glasses though. I’d purchase higher quality next time, but these are fine. Waterproof is great for use in my boat

I bought two of these Eyeskey cases. First I bought the smaller (42 mm) Eyekey case for my Nikon Monarch 30 mm binocular. I liked the bag so much I bought the larger 50 mm case for my Vortex Viper 42 mm binocular. My 42mm Viper do fit in the 42 mm case, but I carry them in the 50 mm case, because the looser fit means it's it easier to get the bino in/out and to store the bino strap inside the case. (Similarly when using my 30 mm Monarch bino in the 42 mm case.)I'd often take my binocular out of the 50 mm case to use it as a "man bag" to carry phone, eyeglasses, and so on. It works just great for that, and the black color is masculine looking and unobtrusive. So I'm now ordering a third bag, to use solely as a man bag.
