Will this work if connected to a thunderbolt-to-hdmi-cable?

Its high speed 8K and supports all the latest technology including HDCP2.3, HDR, Dolby digital 7.1, VRR and more. With 8K dynamic HDR processing technology, every scene will come to life with optimal depth, brightness, detail, contrast, and color-fFrom the listing. If you have an older thunderbolt it will not be compatible, 2014 ish and older.

Delivered a day early. A plus. Works fine for 4K. We don't have 8K TVs or monitors to test with so we cannot comment on 8K quality. Ordered a day ago and the price dropped $2.00 from what I payed so that is a bummer. In general, I have several UGREEN products and they work great.

Does the job

I bring my Roku stick with me when I travel and plug it into hotel room TVs. I bring along this tiny coupler and a spare HDMI cable to make it easier to quickly connect the Roku stick to a TV, no matter how it's mounted. The couplers seem to be well-made, and there is no degradation in picture quality. I didn't really need 2 of them, but I guess it's good to have a spare in case I lose one.
