These lights are great. Used with the right dimmer and transformer, they absolutely are dimmable and they do not flicker. It's all about the dimmer switch and transformer. I'm using a Varilight V-Pro with a Varilight 0-50w 12v AC transformer (the YT50LZ). I previously tried to use a LEDHive 12v DC transformer and got a lot of flicker at low light levels. With the Varilight combo, I can dim them right down to "off" without any flicker.UPDATE: several people have complained that these bulbs are not as bright as a 20w halogen. That is because they're not 2W bulbs. They measure at 1.125W. On a 12.5V power supply, tested with a multimeter, they draw 0.09A of current. So watts = 12.5V * 0.09A = 1.125W. They're closer to about a 12w halogen. That said, I'm still happy with their performance even though I confirm they're not as bright as the 20w halogens they replaced.

These are supposed to be dimmable, non flicker LED bulbs.We have a LED dimmer switch, yet they still flicker terribly, the only time they stop is when they are turned down to the lowest setting........pointless!!I contacted the seller, who told me I needed a LED dimmer switch, I have one........ so asked for a refund.Beware when you buy these, I could not find anywhere on the packaging, where it stated dimmable.... they are not fit for purpose as a dimmable light.

The media could not be loaded. Nice day light level without being a blue colour. But they are most definitely not no flicker. As per slow motion video attached to this review.

A good product & good VFM

Not too large to replace a traditional incandescent or xenon bulb of the same fitting. Build quality seems good, light is pleasantly coloured and if appropriate brightness. Dimming is a little glitchy but definitely works.Bought and installed 4 of these. One failed after 4 weeks use, one after 6 weeks and one after 7. The last one's still going atrong though.

These are great. In hindsight I wish I had bought the warm white as they are a little bit modern for my kitchen. However the white light is fine. They do flicker a tiny bit but I think that's down to the transformer and not the bulbs themselves, I think any bulb would do the same. Also had a panic when they arrived that they were quite a bit bigger than what I had previously but after a bit of a wiggle they went in. I would recommend.

These are supposed to be dimmable, but I have my doubts, as they flicker on the lowest dimmer position!!! They are however ok after turning the dimmer up half way and thereafter, which kind of defeats the point of having a dimmer lamp on the bedside table!NOT recommended for that reason!

I needed 6 of these bulbs but wasn't sure what to expect so ordered 1 pack. I am just about to order my 2nd pack. The bulbs are fantastic. I have a light that has 6 bulbs but the halogens I am using are rubbish, only 3 light up and if I put 4 in, none light up. These LED's use less power so all work, and work immediately. My light doesn't have any form of 'cover' so size is not an issue, but these bulbs are quite round so wouldn't fit in my landing lights, as these have 'covers' over the bulb, so please be aware, these bulbs won't necessarily fit all lights. However, when they do fit, they are brilliant. Also, they don't come cheaply packaged, not just dropped loose in a plastic bag, these are professionally packed so to speak. If you need G4 LED's and size is not an issue, then you won't go wrong with these. Highly recommended.
