This sure beats buying smaller bottles all month. I saved one smaller bottle and use this to refill throughout the month. Saves a lot of money. I use only olive and avocado oils for cooking, so I use a lot. I decided to try it, just because I was hoping to save money, but was prepared to be disappointed with it. I was pleasantly surprised that not only do I save money, but it tastes great, too. I have this on Subscribe and save (saving even more money) and now I never have to worry about running out. I am so glad I tried it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with an olive oil, but here we are. I picked up the Amazon Fresh Mediterranean Blend EVOO a little skeptically—I usually buy smaller artisanal brands, but the price and size (a generous 2 liters!) were too good to pass up. I’m so glad I gave it a try. Right off the bat, the aroma is fresh and fruity, with a hint of pepperiness that I always look for in a good extra virgin olive oil. The flavor is balanced and smooth—not overly bitter or grassy. I’ve used it for everything from salad dressings to sautés to roasting veggies, and it performs beautifully across the board. It even makes a surprisingly nice dip for bread when paired with balsamic and herbs. Another huge plus: the bottle is sturdy and pours easily without dripping. It also seals well, which helps keep the oil fresh longer (always a concern with large bottles). The blend of olives from the Mediterranean really does feel authentic—this isn’t just a bland cooking oil, it actually enhances the flavor of your food. For the price, this is honestly a steal. I’ve paid double for olive oil that didn’t taste half as fresh. If you're someone who uses EVOO daily, this is a smart buy. I’ll definitely be repurchasing! I'm not a chef or gourmet, and I couldn't care less about trendy foods. My base reason for using olive oil is that it's healthier than many other oils, yet affordable. Since I'm not an expert, I've done some research and the weight of opinion of those who know more about it than I do seems to be that, unless money is no object, the best olive oil is a Mediterranean blend. "Blend" does NOT mean they're sneaking another type of oil into the olive oil. It means it is a combination of olive oil from olives that were grown and/or pressed in different countries. (It's OLIVE oil, and anyone who says otherwise must be off their medication.) The back label on this oil tells you what the code letters mean in terms of country. The label on the bottle in the image on the product page, and the label on the bottle I have just finished, indicates the oil is from Greece, Portugal, and Italy, but there are a couple of other codes defined on the label so I assume that the blend may sometimes be different. I don't like a spicy or "perfumy" olive oil, so I like this blend because it is s exactly what it's describe it as - buttery and mild - and it has no strong aroma. It's nice for cooking, marinade, or salad dressing. I use it for frying everything except eggs (I don't like the taste of eggs and olive oil together). This large bottle lasts me about a year. The bottle I purchased in December 2020 had a best-used-by date of October 2021. Because I store it in a dark, cool place, it's as fresh as the day I received it. I'm about to order my 4th bottle and, unless they change the product, it will not be my last.

Olive oil is getting hard to find and more expensive when you do find it. For everyday use we used to go to Trader Joes, but the priced went up and now they don't even sell the large bottle anymore. The small bottle is overpriced. Decided to give this a try and its much better than expected. Taste was very good IMO. The origin for the olives may change, for example the photos here show Spain, Italy and Greece. The one I got was Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal and Tunisia. Not an issue, but they should be more clear on that. Its Mediterranean so - that covers a lot of ground.

I am satisfied with this purchase. The product arrived on time, was well-packaged, and matches the description. The quality is good and met my expectations. So far, it works as expected, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable product that offers good value for money.
