Review: Hyperkin pad that doesn’t work with Hyperkin consoles - Great controller… probably the best, due to grip positioning button responsiveness etc, be aware though I bought this with the intention of using it with hyper beach version of the Hyperkin retron 5 console, Thinking as it’s a Hyperkin pad replicating the design etc of the OG Sega six button pad… it doesn’t work… I swap it out with a Sega pad no problem, I put the squire in the mega drive 2 console, works… annoying to say the least…

Great controller… probably the best, due to grip positioning button responsiveness etc, be aware though I bought this with the intention of using it with hyper beach version of the Hyperkin retron 5 console, Thinking as it’s a Hyperkin pad replicating the design etc of the OG Sega six button pad… it doesn’t work… I swap it out with a Sega pad no problem, I put the squire in the mega drive 2 console, works… annoying to say the least…
